Is it worth using Facebook and Twitter ads?

Quick question, is it worth the money if i use Facebook and Twitter Ads to grow both my social media pages?

How do you normally grow your pages for targeted users?

I own a UK entertainment website, so i can target a lot of followers on both pages, so i guess using the Ad services, works?

I did advertising on FB for an large entertainment website for many months. The goal was to get new users to signup to the site and the goal CPA was $2.00 or under. It's totally possible, we even had ads with CPAs under $1.00

The way to make bank with entertainment websites is beyond the advertising on the site, it's building a registered audience and you can value each user at something high and sell it off to somebody else who wants to buy that kind of website.

The company I worked with had the goal CPA of $2 because they were confident they could resell the business valuing each user at $5. Plus, while it's building, you fund yourself with advertising all in preparation for the big sell out. It works.

I don't mess with twitter that much but I am doing VERY well with Facebook right now.
If you have a plan then ads can bring in revenue. Test out different methods, products,
and so on first. Once you know it makes you money over the cost it really is like a cash
machine after that.

I've never heard anyone with success using twitter ads. I think if you're a big brand, then it'll be much more beneficial for you compared to a small time affiliate.

On other hand, FB could yield to a better ROI due to its cheap cpc's and there's TONS of volume.

I offer a more interactive experience than other competitors, i've already done my research one this. Thanks for the informations, seem like FB advertising is going to suit me more than Twitter.

My vote goes to FB ad. It is indeed effective and you can experience it by yourself by signing up for $5 a day advertisement. Also, most of the users spend time on FB, even when at work so there's a pretty good chance that your ad will be viewed by a decent number of users.

most people is on FB nowadays, im not sure if others are just fad social media when something better comes, then theyre gone. people check on their Fb pages more than once a day, so its more likely to see your ads more.
