Need Homepage Takeover Skins made?

Hello,

I'm currently looking for someone to edit my current WORDPRESS theme to allow Website Takeover Skins/Adverts.

Gamespot:


Seems like i need a background image designed around my wordpress theme? Anyone interested?

Well any theme can do this dude. Just go into your CSS and paste this:

body {
background: url(http://example.com/bg-image.jpg) no-repeat center;
background-size: cover;
}

The hard part will be getting a nice background image designed. Is that what you're looking for?

Yeah, mainly trying to get a background designed for the specific theme. I'd need it ideally in Photoshop format so i can edit it for different advertisements for the future.

What you're wanting appears to require more than one file. It appears to require at least div for your banner (like on the Gamespot page), a (possibly custom) advertisement banner, a large (possibly custom) stretchable background advertising whatever you wanted, and a content div for your normal content. For best effect you'll also want to change your wordpress color scheme to match your advertisement as well (easier said than done).

In short, it's doable but will require a complete reskin every time your product changes. It's not as easy as just one photoshop file. It's going to be a lot of work to do this! Are you still interested in it?

Yes i would be, the theme i'm using allows colour schemes to be changed easy, so that shouldn't matter. It now depends on the cost and time to implement and advert change over times.

I should be able to get your template up and running within a week, with or without custom graphics. You'll most likely need to recolor your wordpress yourself, however. I'll PM you so we can chat more.
