I have ranked sites before and that is the income that I have right now. Those sites are still doing fine. Haven't heard of a single person who has ranked a site from scratch since May 2014. There maybe some but I know none. I have tried hard but I could not rank anything even with good content and good links, social signals and other things.
If you've actually ranked something after May 2014, feel free to drop a line and share a vague hint or if you are feeling generous a detailed strategy that you use.

There are many people who have ranked websites since.
 
Not me. I've dropped a fair amount of money on linkbuilding too and even buying packages from well respected people here... Everything that worked before then no longer works now for me.
 
I started a brand new site 2 weeks ago and it ranks #23 with 1 backlinks. I'm also ranking videos in minutes and hours not days and weeks. Just keep testing dude fast rankings is still possible.
 
Registered this one in June. Its not that hard lads...and stuff that worked before still works now.

Can't you read, stuff that works before still works now. You are simply another (no offence) clueless person who has been caught up too much in the 30 day hold hyped up bullshit.

agreed. I wouldn't say stuff still works EXACTLY as it did before but tweak things here and there and you're golden. People just dont want to test stuff out they want spoon feeding from a silver plate.

Micky can joke on occasion but this is the truth... stuff that used to work still does (well, don't do anything exactly as you have in the past) and the 30 day hold is hype originated from someone's imagination.
 
I have one website that has 0 backlinks (I haven't made any and Ahrefs and Majestic don't show anything) and it's going up in SERPs like a boss.
Getting tons of visitors and it ranks for many keywords.. and I have no idea how and why

According to Terry Kyle, some sites naturally get Google love while some languish in the SERPs. He called it the Random Ranking Factor (RRF). I'll carry out a test based on that in the near future.
 
Yep i have was exact match domain though dont know if that helped :)
 
I can rank only low comp keywords. Before I ranked for the hardest keywords.
 
@Duffer Can you share with us your ranking tactics ? Little bit confuse about your ranking stats.
