First time scammed on Ebay

I always buy products on ebay never have a problem. But today i guest its not my lucky day
Like a month a go i made 5 purchases of the same product (50 items in total) the package arrives today and i got only 5 items (WHAAAATT ?)

I contact the seller and he says "its not my problem , talk with your local customs"

So this its what i think....i bought 50 items , the sellers sends 5 item and when i send him an email asking what happend with the other 45

he just said you got f*ckup by custom



BTW never got a phone call of anything from customs already check it twice (just called for check if theres something there.)


What do u guys think ?

Customs in the USA would send you a letter if they stopped/took anything from the package.

If it is through EBay, open a dispute. Even if the time has passed, you can call Paypal and get one opened there.

they are just iphone wall adapters not very expensive...but anyway....

you can immediately file a dispute against the seller via ebay/paypal

then you investigate if some packets have been held by customs. Sometimes if you buy too much quantity of same items they have a different procedures for that.

You shouldn't have any problems with phone accessories. Since you said it was about a month ago, you should still be able to file a dispute as PayPal has a 45 day dispute limit. If it has been longer than that, then all I have to say is that you should have caught it earlier. Anyone who keeps making excuses to try and get you to receive items past the dispute limit date is clearly up to something. Good thing it was just cheap stuff. Live and learn.

I think the seller should have scammed . Just open a dispute stating item was missing and defective in paypal.
I prefer going with paypal .
They are good compared to ebay

Same thing happened to me, 10 dollars to lose is 10 dollars too much if it wasn't put to good use in my opinion lol I guess research and patience is key when it comes to buying pretty much anything

Show us the listing you bought under or show us his user name on eBay. So others know not to buy from him. You cannot post his email here, but I do not think his listings/username are considered "personal" information. Especially if he is scamming people.
