It seems to me that some of these guys think they can get away with this stuff Because its such a small transaction money wise. They think 'no one will ever waste there time on disputing this for such a small amount, Im gonna get some free $$$'.

Basically, do all of the above statements. Demand proof of postage, take a picture of what you received and then open a dispute on Ebay stating the issue and include the pic.

A dispute is the right way to go for certain even on a small $ purchase. Keep the seller from ripping off other peeps.

I got scammed buying a lot of ps3 games. All posted as new, never used. Got them and all had dealt rings. Filed a dispute, seller sent tracking and paypal took their side. I sent pictures of the death rings and still no good. Now sellers are getting away with this somehow.

*UPDATE*

I send the seller e new message saying to send me a proof of postage
where he sends me all the items or ill do a charge back (it was a lie coz i paid from paypal balance.)

About 5 hours ago he send me a full refund.
And saying sorry for what happens

Ill told him to give me his postal adress to send the adapters that i got
but he tells me "nevermind"

Now the lesson here its that yes he tried to scam me
But the scam didnt not work when i said to him about the chargeback
