And all I am really saying is that there is a whole community there that is pretty "clean" as to ethics and morals and have just hit a speed bump in life. Sure there is a bad element but that is in every part of society but the homeless is just a microcosm of society and the general population are not the crooked type but rather the type that has had a bad go of it.

Do you even realize how ridiculous you sound? How would you have any idea as to what a single one of their mental state's were? So the scammers only took advantage of the "smart" homeless people who had enough options to make an unbiased decision? Lol. "Living in a van down by the river" (sorry had to) isn't the same as living on the street with an empty stomach, and no idea when your next meal could be. I'd like to see you strung out with the burdens that some of these people have and then see this incredible integrity of yours.

Net neutrality simply means that the consumer is forcibly paying part of Netflix & Youtube 's traffic bills. No wonder the big content distributors are pro net neutrality.

With that said, it is CRAZY the lengths that some scammers will go to make $$$. I was watching a dateline episode last night of some has been famous rapper from the 90's named "Tim Dog". And he use to prey on single mothers, and execute a rather ingenious scam on them.

As low as I think the guy is.... I must admit I was rather impressed by the way he managed to survive. Cause this guy was 1 ugly SOB. But he somehow managed to consistently bang THEN scam very attractive women. Like he'd date multiple women at the same time, have sex with them, draw them into a very well executed "business deal", then somehow extort them for healthy sums of money between $15k-$30k.

And the craziest part is this guy got away with it his entire life. He never spent a day in jail and went his entire live sexing and scamming hot single mothers.

...and never got the worst kind of STDs as a payback?...i say he has a black soul!

Wow, just wow. Surely these scammers worked for JP Morgan at some point, seems like their kind of trade. I agree with W130SN in the way they were most likely taken advantage of. If anybody approached someone in desperate need and offered a deal where the can have $100 cash, then they will most likely take it if they don't know the consequence. What baffles me the most is how telecommunications companies can hand over a contract to someone without an address in the first place.

Good question I honestly don't know.

What I do know is if you read up on the guy, it appears he faked his own death just to avoid paying back some woman $19k.

And the police don't even know if he's dead or alive because after he allegedly "died" his funeral was "postponed" but then they never even had a funeral. On top of that, there was no death certificate or any record of his death. So not only did this guy screw and scam hot women his entire life, but he also scammed the police by faking his own death to avoid being charged with anything.

It's a really crazy story because literally noone (his victims, his family OR the police) have any idea if he's dead or alive.

First they try to scam them in some way like a loan or whatever but with some of those who figured it out and refused they literally held them hostage and threatened to kill them if they don't sign. This was a real case with a network of people like this in Romania a while ago. Was on the news.

Sorry but this is not really a "scam" it's easy to infer the homeless are complicit in this. I would say it's someone unethically leveraging a homeless person's financial situation to capitalize on a mutually beneficial business arrangement at worst, and to even call it that you are blindly assuming the homeless have good credit that can be tarnished in this scenario. Pretty sure most residents of your local tent city are not in the 700+ range on Experian

I think homeless people rather have 50-100$ then perfect credit score as more of them don't even have any credit scores
