If I resold services that were being sold in BSTs to customers from lets say for example:iwriter, odesk, fiverr, etc., would that get me banned by BHW if the person whose BST i'm reselling found out? Should I contact them first to see if they're okay with it? I figured both the BST seller and I would be making money; although he would be doing more of the work.

yup as above sure they would be happy with more salles

as long as ur selling outside bhw it should be fine.

why not contact the bst owner and ask permission to re-sell (without revealing source of sales) and maybe they'd even give u some % discount since u'd be giving them multiple sales:)

Can't see why you cannot do that even without telling the bst owner. As long as you pay for the job and the seller gets more sales, nothing wrong with that.

There is no harm to ask. its always good to ask bst owner and you can ask reseller discount also :-)

Yeah there should be no problem with this as long as you get their permission

Tons of people resell my services and I'm glad they do... it is good for us as the provider, good for the reseller as he makes money and good for the end buyer.

I do not even know most of the resellers either unless they happen to talk with me.

I'd be surprised if any other seller here had an issue with that.

Some owners have re-seller price, better contact them before

Contract to Seller & make a deal that you are going to resell his service. So there should be no problem.

Honesty is the best policy! In business, an honest partner stands way above everyone else with other honest partners! So why not take your provider in the loop if you're reselling? That way you may get a special price from him if you are bringing in more business and regularly.

Everyone is saying the same thing, in different words. :) Now you know what I'd do if I were you! lol

Generally speaking, most sellers from around here have nothing against other people reselling their services. On the contrary, there are quite a lot which will provide reseller discounts (depending on some specific conditions: e.g. amount of orders). But, of course, it is best to ask before starting to resell some services. And you might get some discounts, too :D

I guess most people would love it as one or the order we do sell our services to our clients and our services are either done by our staff 3party or outsourced what matter most seo clients is result.

No harm in reselling. The seller would not have got that order without you. So he might be only happy. However by contacting them, you can get volume discounts which will increase your profit.

I know Fiverr and oDesk well, it's almost guaranteed you are not going to find people who can afford link building to the point that you can make a profit after you mark it up. And with how bad many of the services are on here you're putting their sites at risk if you haven't tested the service yourself.
