Hey guys, lately Ive been trying to buy and build my own websites. Anyways, Ive heard that a lot of website niches are over saturated and thus leave you with little room to make good money. So im wondering what niches, in your opinion are currently way too saturated. Also, which niches are original and good for making some money.

Stop searching for excuse why you should not build a niche website! get up, buy or find a good keyword and start building quality links and writing quality articles.

Niches became harder for newbies, but there is money and potential in every niche, you just need to think out of the box. For example, you won't start selling weight loss products and wait to get organic traffic, but there's plenty of traffic coming from other sources.
Work smart, not hard.

Anyway, the bigger niches seem easier to make money in, you simply need to use a little thought. For example if you are going for weight loss, do not spend all your efforts trying to rank your website for weight loss. Start ranking for long tail keywords, then go for the harder keywords.

Skip the Viral niche! Simply way to much! There is still a lot of potential but not as easy as it used to be!

There will always be money to be made in niches, because by definition they are specialized places in the market. Specialized places don't tend to get oversaturated, in which case they really start to become less of a niche and more of an industry (such as porn).

Any real niche can be profitable so long as you can put the time and energy into making it so.
