What an excellent mass traffic optimization (MTO) method, or twist on getting targeted traffic without direct reliance on doing your own ranking/SEO. This is an excellent way to get the same outcome (more clicks to the money site) without all the hassles of website management, do-follow link building, constant content creation, Google dancing, etc. What people forget about SE marketing is that it is an indirect form of traffic generation, is hyper-competitive, and keeps one dependent on obeying/gaming Google to get anywhere.

"Go where the traffic is" concentration on direct link-through clicks, via piggybacking on relevant sites with high-volume traffic, shows us a way out of the SEO drudgery. Some additional non-ranking ways to get effective direct link through traffic:

1- High volume forum traffic. Pick your niche, check through Alexa and Quantcast to find the highest traffic forums related to it, post away. See:

2- YouTube volume traffic. Find the most trafficked/viral videos related to your niche, message the poster and ask them to add your link. Or better (since most will say no), create a video/playlist with the exact same keyword title and tags, viral element ("Bieber sucks" etc), compelling thumbnail (perhaps a sexy girl, or celebrity image, etc). Your uploads will almost certainly appear among the 'related videos,' and will draw lots of residual traffic to your video and its money link. See:

3- Major sites' related pages. Most know this one. A live link from a niche related page on Yahoo Answers, Wikipedia, Google news, eBay etc can deliver a ton of visitors, regardless of its (usually) no-follow nature. Even a non-hyperlinked url on Craigslist can deliver good traffic, depending on the topic or if the ad sticks.

Depends. Some posters will do it for free, some will want a one time or ongoing fee. The key is that most of them don't have any monetizing designs of their own, and may have no idea what their viral monster video is worth, so you could end up "buying Manhattan for $24" in this manner. Going the 'related videos' path avoids making you have to 'media buy' in this fashion. Leith has explained the 'ask posters' method here:

Then redirect the traffic to your sites simple landing page that has an Amazon widget on it. Just another layer of protection.

Haha, are you assuming that I am a beast with affiliate sites? I don't even know the half. It would probably be much better to start a thread when you get into Amazon Affiliates. However, I could tell you some public knowledge for some money haha.

Cloak the links to be safe if you are direct spamming to Amazon... Better safe then sorry! Im not going to show screen shots of my affiliate account as my main source of income is from that account and it's simply just not worth the risk.
