I'm curious to know if internet marketing/niche sites are actually a doable way to make a living. Actually be able to pay rent every month, take your girlfriend out, take care of the kid(s), not live in a parent's basement, you know. I'm just now getting into Adsense with Niche website making, working on my first one, which I know would at the most be only residual income. I'm curious to know if anyone here makes a living doing any of the things mentioned on this site? And for a noob like me, who is looking to start supporting a family in the future, am I on the right track by starting with niche adsense peppered sites? Or is affiliate marketing what I should be doing? Or something else entirely? I already have a youtube with adsense enabled, but my payout is only at 60 right now. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

That's a really broad question. The short answer would be 'Yes!'. You'd be surprised how much some people on here actually make. On the other hand, it all comes down to the time and effort you are willing to put into this. If you want it to pay-off like a full time job, you'll need to approach it like one. Only this time, no ones is handing out bonuses for 'overtime.' Good luck, buddy.

Yes but am I approaching it at the right angle? Writing these 500 word unique articles every day to be made into a niche site. Or is there a better way? Like whats the norm. So many methods and things on here to make money, its hard to pick one to run with, ya know?

I'm a HS dropout and I make more than anyone I know who has actually graduated from college. You have to live and breathe this shit. If you treat it like a hobby it will never be more than that. If you treat it like a career, you will make a living off of it. Whatever you decide to do, don't just skim the surface. Research, read, analyze the hell out of the competition, copy what works, but don't be scared to add your own touch. How dedicated you are is the difference between $100 a day and $1000 a day.

A method listed here is only an opportunity. Its not a magical spell to get you rich. Traditionally people use other people to delegate to and save time, but thanks to computers and the internet, we delegate to computers and automated services.

Get started on what interests you, and just keep improving your technique from there.

Love this post. Thank you for this.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I can stick with this and actually see some good results. I need some results by around September.

Most people actually post these methods because they done make money, this whole forum is just the illusion of people making money. All the contributors are actually one guy trying to get you to buy jr. hip member ship so he can bank off the recurring income.... genius!

Nah I'm kidding, most people are here to help and some members post information that money can't buy and they do it for free. The journey section is a good place to start.

Depends. I'm a student and whatever I make from internet is good enough for me to enjoy my life. Not to mention, I pay 70% (not entirely from IM, some from offline projects I indulge in) of my college fee by myself while my parents pay the remaining 30%.

I pay my bills doing this.

But, it takes full time effort. It takes full time dedication to understanding what works. It takes, yes, creativity.

And I'm *still* not taking advantage of certain things (the fact I write as much as I do, but I don't turn it into content for websites), and other things I don't know enough about (particularly YouTube, even though I make $60 a month off it, I don't post many videos nor do I know anything about having multiple accounts or using it much for affiliate marketing, so much to learn there).

And while I feel steady in this, the bottom *could* fall out. I think once you're into this for a few years, even if the bottom fell out, you'd know enough on how to start back up again. I also think it's good to have 20 sites, not 1 site.

I've also done everything from scratch. I also came up with one idea that if I hadn't thought of it, I would not be where I am.

And I still can't believe this is actually working, I'm actually going this, but the internet is a huge hundreds of billions a year market so you're going to have people who make a living.

Quit my job last year. Still making a living online. At the moment earnings are not the best, but I average more monthly that what I could working for someone else for minimum wages + on top of that I have freedom to do what I want when I want without having to worry about having to go to work. As long as you know what works for you is matter of rinse and repeat. I re invest a bigger part of my earnings in ranking more sites etc.

Hello,

It seems most people miss this question of yours so ill answer.
This, personally, i think is the most viable way, especially when you are starting out. Write articles for yourselves and keep updating your site until it makes about $15 - $20 a day and it is totally doable since you have about three months (u said u want some results by September). Try to write as much as you can, put quality to the articles. It takes at the most an hour for 1 article, try to do 2 or 3 a day. And remember to build backlinks. Build them manually works just fine. Try to build 1 link a day.

By September, I guess u r going back to school, u can outsource the writing. U can hire a good writer to write 2 articles a day at $3 - $5 each. Now all u do is proofread and post them and still making $10 - $15 a day with minimal work. Then grow from there.

Dont give up.
