The site is still indexed on Google (site:xxxxx-xxx.org), so I can't say for sure.

Authority links, average PR of 4, DA/PA of 45 and max OBL of 5 (1-2 usually). The social signals are done using an automated system we had one of our coders from oDesk build. It's our own network, Authority+.

I think #3 will bring the most profits if it resurrects, but that won't be much of a long term site.

I guess that's your own private network then or did you use something like SAPE? How many of those PR4 links did you add and how fast? I've seen overkill play a role when dealing with high PR links, for example I once gave a site 8 PR5 and 2 PR6 homepage links, all at the same day and nothing happened while for another site that got the same treatment it moved up like a rocket.

I had real poor results with SAPE lately, well actually no results at all, I went for super competitive keywords from #11 and #12 (ranked with my own network) back to page 4 after adding 100 SAPE links from a provider on this forum. Well can't blame him as it did wonders for a friend of mine so...

My first thought when I read this case study was: "The sites probably tank due to Panda before the links kill them" as it are one page sites so could easily have to do with that as well.

Another trend that I see with small / thin sites in combination with high PR links is that the rankings are very jumpy, today you can rank page 1, and tomorrow not in the top 500.

Your list has been great! I made 400k links in the last 24 hours with it lol.

You should stop checking your churn and burn site for awhile, each of these dances will takes up to 24-36 hours to be honest.

Some of my churn and burn sites dance like crazy, but will be stable after 2-3 days.

You're pretty much asking me to reveal my keywords... yeah, not happening.

One of SERPBook's best feature is you can share a tracking link by hiding the keywords. With such case studies, sharing a rank tracking link is quite an essential part.

Churn and burn still works great for low and medium competition niches. I have a site ranking #2 for the past 8 months now. I started spamming it 10 months ago with nothing but GSA and it's gotten through every update. Then there are the hundreds of properties I have ranking on youtube, facebook and blogger. Which is more "rank and bank" then "churn and burn". I unscrupulously blast the shit out of these properties and they make me a good deal of money.

I just want newbies to know, if anyone tries to tell you that spam isn't worth your time / doesn't work / can't make you $$$ ... they are FOS.
