It was a good reminder that aggressive black hat is still working and will work in some form or another for some time to come. Does that mean it is the best option to go with. May be for some and may be not for some.

Definitely churn and burn strategy, no doubt about that. But it works and it will work for all the animals google can throw at it.
of course you wouldn't do it for a whitehat business website, but that's not what it's about.

I'm doing a similar case study on my own, but with 1 page parasite sites ranked using nothing but pure spam blasts from GSA SER. Of about 5 of these pages I'm trying to rank only the one in the most competitive niche is ranking at all and every Google update it keeps ranking higher. The other 4 pages in less competitive niches not even in the top 1,000.

It's always interesting to see things that were supposed to no longer be working, still work to this very day.

It was a Great Read Matt, Even i was surprised to see one of my site(low competition) is still ranking #1 even after the update...


I had directly blasted them with GSA, No tiers... Still its there on top since 1 and a half month now.

Really nice blog you have i have watched your gsa ranker tutorial but when i followed your steps gsa ranker wont work, i mean searching and building links is so hard.


I use 20 private proxies and 10 semi dedicated + a 100k top searching keyword list when searching after targets, i usually use engines by english language. I got a lot of download failed errors and already parsed messages.
My lpm is incredible low. Maybe 1.
I have even used scrapebox to scrape after targets and even with that my lpm is low and i barely create contexual links.


what am i doing wrong.

Would have been better if you pitched it as a pump and dump strategy rather than a way to "beat" Panda/Penguin.

Well pure spam never has a long shelf life - it's just churn and burn to make more moneys


The point of the post was just to highlight the fact that the aggresive spam approach still works, regardless of what everyone 'thinks'

Personally I use it with The Best Spinner API - the content on the site was PLR and was not built with KM3.

When building a site, I have found it way easier to rank for keywords, especially long term, by simply following the guidance of how Matt built his blog (through delivering consistent quality content) and not with the tactics that he actually blogs about (spammy link building tactics).

The beauty of internet marketing is there are more than 1 way to skin a cat and how you skin the cat depends on what your goals/objectives are.


There is no on size fits all SEO campaign, and SEO/link building is only a very small component in internet marketing.

Nice results 5 days after Panda 4.0 rolled out.

Taking into account that Panda refreshes once a month I will be looking forward to an update by then.

ps: Duplicate content is only duplicate when it exists on the same site over and over, if it comes from different sites then Panda won't have much of a problem with it.

I always wonder why my blog gets so little attention, now I know it, I 'm too honest with my case studies, more then half of them fail as that's normal when you're testing new things. The things that do work get hit by some updates now and then and then it needs reviving, same like everyone experiences with Internet Marketing. More failures then successes.

But people don't want to read about failures, they only want success stories.
