Hi,

I have been using Bookmarking Demon for some weeks. I got private proxies and used them each time I changed name and managed to get to 15th position for my keywords on Google.

But suddenly, my site disappeared. Not on page 2, not on page 3, not on page 4, 5 or 6, etc.

What can cause this? Could it be because I pinged the sites with BMD feature using my own personal IP?

Thanks

Bookmarking your own sites no matter what IP or user account you use can be caught as spam. If your web traffic doesn't match the bookmarking activity pointing to your site I feel google can pick up on it.

Just my .02

Maybe you have spammed a bit too much and raised the G flag?

Hmm... I don't know what I did wrong. I submitted 567 times my main page and around 200-300 each of the 5 other pages. I used different proxies each time and switched between 5 titles and around 10 tags and many definitions...

I don't understand what went wrong.

Can I do the same for my competition and get them sandboxed too?

What can I do to get back my ranking and how does Google figure how many people are on my site? Anyone had such problem with BMD?

Thanks

hi,

do you bookmark or ping your rss feeds? it might be better to aggregate links in one file as rss feed and do pinging?

anyone had success with it

I guess that would dilute the pinging. I did use 10 other site Feeds to mix them with my site, adding 1-3 each time I post a link to my site. I really don't understand why my site has been sandboxed.

Just go for bookmarking the sites and dont worry anout the IP you are using. Or else, try pinging. If you are unaware of pinging method, then search in GOogle or else contact me personally.

That's what I did, and this is how I got my site sandboxed...

spam more good work my son, screw big g. Get some trust links to back it up.

And how can I do that? I can write some other pages (even if I wanted to keep this a minisite), but would that be enough?

I believe sandboxing is temporary. Keep building links. But I would do it slowly so it looks natural.

That's what Edwin from Bookmarking Demon told me as well. But isn't this a bit strange? I mean: I bought Bookmarking Demon to build a lot of links and now he recommend to make it look natural. What do you think?

Fluctuation like this frequently for organic SE traffic, give it a few days and you might find your site appearing back in the SERPs again. Cheers

well.. thats what we call.. too much..
anyways.. 567 times in how many hours/days/months?

nobody can say for sure why your site got hit.. but we all will try and learn from your experience and be more watchful before using a Bot to a limit

How many bookmark accounts did you use ?

Did you get sandboxed for one keyword or all keywords that you are targeting ?

You will raise the flag for Google if you start building too many links in a short period of time and just stop after that. The key point here is time not the links, google will have NO issues if you keep the same rate of linkbuilding even if you do 500 links a day.

Now the only thing you can do is to get some good quality links. Go build a couple of web 2.0 properties like squidoo and such and you will be ok.
