When I read the first few words, I literally thought about that thread. :D This member herself attracts stalkers to her, it seems. That too only those who are wearing uniforms. Doesn't any other good-looking (living) young people, businessmen, sportsmen, editor, students, beggars, anyone other than officers come to her gas station? Strange. Search more in yahoo for a better shy romance in graveyard story line. If your BFs park outside the glass window and ONLY keep staring at you then they have a huge medical problem it seems, or you need to visit the parlor more times every week. Lol this is getting ridiculous and I'm not quite sure why you dug up my old thread SB, the one I first wrote when I starting noticing this guy. Attracting stalkers? How would I do that? I assume just because I am friendly and have a positive attitude might make me a target.

Anyways - yes, I've posted on Yahoo about this but I didn't get much feedback or how to handle the situation and thus why I've posted here. I'm just getting a little bit nervous about this because I've never faced this problem before.

I can't exactly lock the doors and not let him in. Lol

I extracted the other thread? It's you who are posting those similar threads all over the internet. Everyone told you here and there to go to the law. You're not doing that. Then expect to get silly answers in return. Will we see, 2 months down the line, the same or similar thread once again? Lady, go to the law, the real one, and get professional help. Else you are in real trouble. imho.

You are not only putting yourself in big trouble, you are losing the trust factor because you are not listening to the really good solutions you're getting. Why repeat the same content again and again. We expect you to be really safe and so everyone is asking you to go to the law, or take professional help in this regards. The real local type. Of course if it is real we want you to be very safe and protected.

Both the threads are same, so what difference it makes whether we answer on this or that thread?

You could have opened that same thread and continued with the stalking story.

Anyway, listen to this. When a grown up girl (young lady) is working on the front desk of a motel / gas station / newspaper stand / bar, etc. then she is normally exposed to stalker type people. Not the same with girls working in a bank / shop / mall / offices / institutions where there is additional security like guards, security cameras, etc. That's not the fault of a working girl, mind you. It is the fault of the society where a girl working relatively in the open and without those additional strong walled security and cameras are not as better off as their counterparts. Sadly it is a fact. I don't say that every man looks at the woman in a disgusting way but there are increasing numbers in the today's society, imo, because of the access to internet on PCs and mobiles where the xxx sites are freely available. Earlier it was just a few xxx magazines that were tantalizing magazines that were the provoking factors for men. Now everyone has easy access to anything that can influence him to think dirty. Add the canned alcohol to it.

It is also so bad, chiefly because people who indulge in such anti-social activities have no fear of law left in them. And the rest of the (good) society too doesn't care any more about it. We would like to see an ideal society where every woman get the due respect in all types of environment, but the day is far off in the future... hopefully. Until then, there should be proper safety guidelines for a working woman, working especially at odd hours and a real-time help should be provided.

Nowadays, you have mobiles with a button when it is pressed calls the nearest police station, and the police force too is forced to act on the alarm as quickly as it can (so I've heard, not seen). May be all those gadgets, a body alarm, guidelines, a few lessons (rather an expertise) in self defense, a bottle of pressurized pepper spray, a knife, a revolver, a sten gun, and the ability to kick hard and run fast is needed. How much, OP, are you comfortable with one or more of these safety measures?
