So now that FB banned all Dating Affiliates what happened to your earnings? Did you take a huge hit? Managed to somehow get whitelisted? Switched to a different niche/traffic platform? I am still relatively new to all this, so I apologize if some of the questions sound ridiculous to you. I started seeing profit from a few campaigns back in September when I was just learning, but I had to go to sea for 3 months. After coming back from deployment I spent an entire week of setting ads up with proper, tracking and targeting for various offers just to find out that FB does not allow dating affiliates anymore. Ever since, its been like hitting my head against the wall. Nothing I do on FB seems to work.

If the link (with good cloaker!)don't send to the affiliate link but to your nich, Facebook can still decide to ban you?
If the CC comes from France or even Thailand, can I still launch U.S campaign with an U.S IP?

Regardless of a cloaker, FB still has a chance to ban your account if people complain about your ads.

Personally I lost some revenue on some dating campaigns I had working because of facebooks new dating advertising rules. Its all because of stupid affiliates cloaking dating offers to adult sites. It was inevitable that they made some changes. I was able to get whitelisted with a couple of offers because I was doing volume and running directly with the advertiser and not through a network. Facebook still works though. There are a couple of niches killing on FB right now. I won't out them on a public forum though.

I see a couple of people asking about direct linking vs landing pages. I think a lot of peoples problem is that they look at affiliate marketing as a way to get money instead of treating like a business. What are your long term goals? If you see the bigger picture then a landing page is almost always the way to go. Why? Because of lead quality for the advertiser. Think about it like this. The advertiser is paying you for leads. If your leads are profitable for him why would he keep paying you? You have to look at the long term. Do you want to stay on the offer? Do you want to be able to go directly with the advertiser and skip around the cpa network for higher payouts? Then lead quality should always be something you pay attention to. Think big and for the long term and it will benefit you down the road.
Yes cloaking can make you money. But is the hassle of constantly buying new accounts worth it? Is that really a good business model? Make money today and then get banned and have to figure out where your next payday is coming? All that stuff does is make things harder for people who advertise straight up and it makes it harder on your self because loopholes will eventually be fixed and cloaking will just become harder and harder. Just my .02
Kudos to the OP for giving out these kinds of hints on a public forum. You dont see that often. Couple of gems in his tips. I'll give you guys another pointer. Treat Facebook like you would ANY OTHER TRAFFIC SOURCE. Learn it until you have it down to a science. There are always ways to game the system. The more you understand a traffic sources algorithm the better off you will be.
Pro Tip For Facebook:
NEVER change your campaign budget during the day. Always wait until the start of the advertising day. Why? Its about the algorithm. If you set your bid higher during the middle of the day FBs algorithm will send you a bunch of traffic it normally wouldn't have sent you just so it can fill your budget making more money for facebook and trust me this newly allocated traffic 90% of the time will not convert nearly as well as the data you've gathered would suggest.
