$50k/Month With Apps (Failure Is Not an Option)

Thanks for following up! Yes, it's all about taking action.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it!

Greenmusic - I believe this can work, you almost sound as motivated as I am. I just started a necktie ecommerce website. I have 5 suppliers; 2 dropshippers and 3 wholesalers. I opened the site December 21st. Had it up and running, fully built, with hundreds of ties. Started SEO/internet marketing. I've already ranked 103 keywords in 32 days. But I had a discipline no one in their right mind has. I have millionaire status discipline. I stay up 22 hours a day, sometime all day. I stayed up 3 days in a row, working non stop. I earned the money I profit off of. I'm already creating jobs for people, helping the economy little by little. Money will be working for me, people will be working for me. The month of February, I made $700. This month I plan to make $1200. The month after, in April, I plan to make around $3000 a month. Eventually I'm going to outsource my sites tasks, run it on auto pilot. I plan to only take 10% out of my profits until it hits $3000 a month. I'm reinvesting my profits 100%, hyper-growth mode. All my profits will be reinvested, I plan to keep this a cash flow business. Next project will be selling scooters and scooter kits.

Warning: I been doing this since I was 16. I'm 25 currently. I know what I'm doing.

Expenses: $876 = I've hired a developer and he's already working on my first game : ) (Very simple game).
This salary is laughable for an app developer. You won't be able to make anything worthwhile.

Like I said I don't really want to go into details on how I'm going to promote, but basically I'm sure I can get a few thousands downloads per day at first, and I'm planning to do something that could potentially bring 100's of thousands of downloads overnight.
You won't go into details how to promote the app? Why? That's pretty much the most important thing in app business now-a-days.

Actually, no, you can't.

Well.. We're the same! Sometimes I go to sleep at 8 am just working on my stuff :) In the future I want to have a team of 15 - 20 people working with me obviously I'm going to be the boss. :newspaper
I'm 22 and I only have one year and 2 months doing this IM thing. I know how it feels to make $4000 + month.

I appreciate your comment champ!

If you read carefully. I said this was a SIMPLE GAME. The developer has earned more than $876.. In fact he's going to earn $1000's of dollars with me because he's going to develop other apps for me as well. You should read the whole thread before posting...

You won't go into details how to promote the app? Why? That's pretty much the most important thing in app business now-a-days.

If you want me to teach you how to promote apps then this is not your thread buddy...

Actually, no, you can't.

Good luck.

Can you tell us how you found your app developer?
Or just your usual ones from freelance type sites?

From what I read it is hit or miss with developers. Any tips you can give on choosing reliable one?

I used Elance to find the developer.
It can be a pain in the ass to find a good one, but what I do before I hire them is (if I can) chat with them on Skype or send a few messages and see how they respond. You should also take a look at their portfolios, and job history.

Yes, a paid version will be released to remove ads + a few more features will be added to the paid version. I'm going to wait until I have a lot of people playing the game. I don't know if you mean how much I will pay the developer or how much will the paid version cost... Well to answer both. I know he can do the paid version for $250 and it will cost $1.99 :)

The developer is already working on the Android version of the game and that will cost me an extra $500. Also he's working on the first update that I'm going to release 1 month after the app is listed on the app store. This will cost me another $500. This update will add several items to the "shop" and will add some cool features within the game as well.

will you release a paid version to remove ads? what cost would that be?

Update:

I'm really sorry guys.. I haven't update this thread in a few days now. As you might know I have other things going on as well... I was just waiting for the apple to list the app on the app store.. Guess what.. My app is now ready for sale! Also my In-App Purchases are approved so I'm happy about that.

It's GO time!
Stay tuned... :bigok:

Subscribed OP, Am also going into Apps but I don't have a huge sum of cash so I am teaching myself how to code.
I work in an office during the day and I learn how to code at night.

I hope by the end of this month I would have finished learning and created my first app.

Keep us updated.

Subscribed, who made your app, can you send me a PM with more information please?

Important Update: (I'm exited)

So as you might know my app just listed March 6th (late night), and downloads are starting to increase (little by little)...
What I'm exited about is because I already made a sale! :clap2: Yes.. someone bought something from the shop (In-app purchase). Also I've made a reasonable amount of money from the ads considering how many downloads I have.

Expenses: $1,262.84 + $200 (promotion) = $1,462.84
Revenue: Ads: $0.38 In-app purchase: $0.70 (We only keep 70%)
Profit: $0

It's nice to finally see some results. :D How many downloads do you have? You don't have to tell me exact number.
