If Seth doesn't have time to respond, then why does he take time to login into BHW and NOT respond? His http://screencast.com/t/xZDqLmNm was at the same time you logged in.
His lack of direct response as CEO, is deafening and defines company culture.
I had put in support tickets, the attitude of support lead me to close them. Not something I enjoyed doing.
Since this is a sales thread consider this a review of your product/service after the sale.
Ubot Ver 5 is installed on two different machines (XP and Win 7), both of them crash several times a day and no other programs crash on a regular basis.
I would, again, with all due respect investigate how many people are experiencing this problem or at least ALLOW a discussion about it on the forums. My thread trying to due this was censored. Maybe it would be best if you started the thread this time.
My honest feedback is, when asked I hesitate to tell people I write bots in Ubot, since the response generally is a derogatory remark about your product. This is not a dig, I've stuck with Ubot for over 3 years now, hoping that it would become stable. That dream seems to be met with an argument by the Ubot team on every level. It's just sad.
If it works well for everyone, then why am I here trying to encourage Seth to have an open an honest conversation. I really would prefer making money with Ubot.

It's unfortunate that throughout this series of complaints about how we handle support you've failed to mention exactly what was done that caused you to close the tickets.
If you'd like to get your issues resolved, please post your ticket IDs so I can take a look.
Otherwise I'll assume you're just trying to decrease sales for reasons that I won't speculate about. This is BHW, after all.
Every week I personally speak with customers who are excited about how much UBot is doing for them. A new customer last week told me he'd saved 11 hours a week with it, after 2 weeks, and it was going to save him $80k+ a year.
There may be problems, but I'm confident that the software is the best on the market. If you have legitimate issues, then please go about resolving them through the methods that we suggest.
If you'd like to get your issues resolved, please post your ticket IDs so I can take a look.

Okey since I stumble across this thread I'll take a moment to request a function.
There's so much space getting wasted right now, and for very deep nests, those scroll bars can get really tiny..

And also a minimum size of the ubot window.

You can automate any website - this includes posting to forums, creating threads, etc. We don't call them templates, we call them bots. You could definitely build a bot that worked on multiple forums, since most use the same backend (SMF, for example).

My comments are a review of your software/service after the sale.
Since you wanted to know why I closed my last tickets...
After receiving numerous "Assertion Failed!" errors and running task manger to keep killing Ubot. I mentioned "Kindly let Seth know, I never in the 20+ years of working with windows have I had to run task manager to "kill" a development environment (or any other program) like I have been for Ubot over the last few weeks. Just want to make sure he understands how things are."
After a response that didn't address the task manager instability issue, I wrote.. "With all due respect, Your lack of response to my "Task Manager" comment is a concern, Kindly ask Seth to email me directly with his response to the Task Manager comment. Thanks."
Then the one and only support person wrote "If you have any issues you need to submit for review, please do so through the tracker: tracker.ubotstudio.com
Issues with the software are reported through support and through the tracker, not through Seth Turin's email"
After posting on the forum to find out if others where having this issue also the support person wrote this "Your recent topic has been deleted for not complying with the forum section rules. We understand that you are frustrated with your issue, however it is important that we keep the forum productive and positive for all members to participate freely. The forum is not the best place for complaints about UBot Studio, staff or bugs. If you would like to speak to another one of our staffers, feel free to open a ticket with your thoughts and I will make sure to forward the ticket to someone who can listen and hopefully find some solutions for you."
The lack of the ability to escalate issues, led me to realize that my table search issue was not going to be resolved (after it was occurring 100% on two different machine Win 7 and XP), I wrote around it and felt like I was just doing beta testing for you.

If you listen to the Ubot staff in the Skype group, as long as you are not one of the 2% that use ubot the way you should it will be fine. We were officially told that v5 won't be stable until at least 5.0.7 so that wasn't the best start, and even on the latest version, 5.0.9, there are still a lot of problems.
A lot of people are still using the now unsupported V4, and thats being held together by the plugin writers.
As for the 'Still the best web automation software on the planet', would love to see some facts to back up that claim.

Ubot support likes to remove threads if you speak the truth on their forum. All I wanted was cookies support. It's been like 3 years people been asking for it but they never add it in. Zennoposter has cookie support so I guess thats the tool to use if you need to save and load cookies. I know like 5 other people who have the same complaint and thats why they choose zennoposter over ubot. UBot is still a good software I just wish they would actually add in features that are really important instead of just ignoring it. They seem to have cookies support for sockets but not the browser. I don't get it. Could it be that it is not possible for them to do it because they rely on a 3rd party browser engine?
i have to advocate for UBS here... we've had great results with it. if you perfect the logic and language, it can be very fault tolerant and perform very close to a human. i would, however, like to see the possibility to spawn the bot with a specific windows size and offset... or perhaps to use a local intercepting proxy to specify fingerprinting variables to make it easier to keep the big sites from fingerprinting the bots. UA spoofing and clearing flash cookies just isn't enough.

I think so, but all in all, it's a good tool for getting started with web automation.
I myself have created several solutions with UBS and I like that it's fast. The only downside is that it's hard to build large solutions.

Sorry since i don't have enough post.. i can't PM you back... basically i have subscribe a service for seo report, even it has multiple access, the problem arise with the same User interface, means other user can see multiple campaign like mine. So i'm thinking to use ubot to access the site, and after login, i remove the dom and modify css that related to setting a campaign.. so its more read only and only for one campaign...
