kinda a noob question here but after i scrape some sites check obl,pr and use the blog analyzer and only comment on the ones that allow me to , when i link check almost none of them are sticking. do i need to wait longer before link checking or am i doing something wrong?
All your comments are going to moderation. So they only time they are going to show up right away is if they are auto approved. The blog analyzer only qualifies if they are open, it has no way of testing whether or not a blog is auto approved of if the comment will go to moderation.
The only way to find that is to post and then link check. If the link shows up right away its auto approved, else its moderated.
To that end blog analyzer is useless. There is no point in loading all the urls in the blog analyzer and then having to reparse half of them in the poster. The poster is way out of sync with the blog analyzer anyway, so it can post to WAY more then blog analyzer can qualify, so your throwing away potentially tons of useful targets.
Further to the point its a sheer waste of time, just load them all in the poster and see what sticks. Blog analyzer was designed to prequalify pages in a multi threaded way for use in the slow poster. That saved time. However slow poster is basically obsolete and 99.9% useless, you can just install the learning mode poster and use fast poster.
Blog analyzer works with I think 7 platforms and will toss the rest, learning mode poster can post to 32 platforms at the moment. So your losing 25 platforms that are getting trashed, potentially anyway. Plus the new poster is more efficient and can post successfully to urls that blog analzyer says it can't, so just don't use blog analyzer.
i want to grab comments from some links but SB cannot do that. For example, this is a link hxxps://blog.kissmetrics.com/increase-fans-and-followers/ . When i try, scrapebox show "407" . This is a wordpress blog. I also try gscraper to grab comments, but it also failed
how to grab comments from this link? Thanks
407 is authentication required, this generally comes from your proxies. Try it with the use proxies box unticked. I get a 501 error, which Im not sure why that would be. The issue is that I can not look at the request in debugger because its a https request. Likely its https to help prevent automated software from working with it. Neil (who owns the company) has written on how to use scrapebox on his blog and is quite savvy.
