Ok Dogecoin...You Got Me!

I would buy if I knew how?

I went too Vault of Satoshi but it looks confusing as fuck. Cant they make it more straight forward? Does it take time to load your account with funds?

Actually VoS is the easiest in my opinion. Otherwise you would need to send money to a wallet, buy BTC on an exchange, then trade/sell BTC for Doge. With the price of BTC moving so wildly, you could easily lose money just doing the transfer to Doge. I myself would have lost a few k if I would have went this route.

For VoS, I made my first wire in the morning and it was in my account a few hours later. For the second wire it was in my account the next morning. Coinbase for instance takes 4 business days to show up.

It will never be even close to $1. Don't be delusional. This is just a fad and nobody takes it seriously. It's a Litecoin clone, which in turns is a Bitcoin clone. Clones are never successful. And Doge doesn't have a ceiling to how many can be made, they are infinite basically and therefore worthless. People just haven't realized it yet and are buying into this crap. Learn how economics work.

Not entirely sure what you mean by "worthless". Cryptocurrencies are all essentially "worthless" if you think about it that way.

I don't really feel like explaining it thoroughly but as long as people wish to use them as a commodity, they will hold value. If nobody wanted to use BTC all of a sudden, would they still be worth the price they are now?

Although $1 per coin is extremely difficult, it's still possible (and completely reasonable) for them to reach 1 cent. Even so, it's more than enough.

VoS takes awhile to verify, but it's pretty good. I don't buy huge bulk amounts like Elliot305 does, so I don't prefer to use VoS.

If you want smaller amounts, I would suggest you to find miners who are willing to sell to you directly. You'll only get like maybe 30-50K from each one daily (or at least this seems to be in my case), but they'll always sell to you at a fair market value. Instead of having to pay the $15 fees for VoS to deposit each time, which can really add up if you're only looking to buy small amounts, you can avoid this from buying from the miners. Plus, you avoid the ridiculous mark up prices on coins from using exchange sites/sellers as well.

I'm mining and would be up for selling smaller amounts through paypal if anyone is interested and have references on here. But larger amounts, VOS is good. Also search the paypal to virox to sll to btc to an exchange method, that's how I got started when buying it.

I hold 1m coins, purchased sometime back, Not really buying on this Dip, But I think its a good buying opportunity

Price is looking pretty good right now for a buying opportunity. Problem is I won't be able to wire more money into my trading account until Monday, so who knows where it will be by then. Anyone else considering buying on this dip?

I dont know but i found this and seems alot of money is flowing through the cryptocoin world

Seems like doge stabilized on 0.000002 this week. Definitely a good time to buy some coins. Can't wait for the next bubble.

Great article on why Dogecoin is a bowl of sh**:

And yet 3 months after said article was written, Doge is still holding strong...hmmmm.
Holding strong? Really?

3 months is nothing. Wait 3 years. OP, invested 10k LONG TERM into a hype meme coin LOL!

Pretty much all clone coins are out. Yes, including Litecoin. It will always be the little brother of Bitcoin, but it really offers no edge that Bitcoin doesn't.

All the altcoins are pretty much worthless if you have Bitcoin.

If Bitcoin fails, then all other alts will fail as well.

If Bitcoin is strong, then nobody needs the other alts.

Actually I have $25k invested now, so I must be an even bigger idiot, lol. It's called taking a shot. I've done stupider things with a lot more money. I don't consider this a long term investment. I consider this a gamble regardless of the length. If Doge crashes and I lose it all, it won't effect me one bit since I was willing to take the risk. And for me to say I can lose $25k and not care probably means I've taken high-risk shots like this before. Some work out and some don't.

Remember to store your coins in your own wallet. I lost approx $50k worth in BTC because I left them on MtGox.

Why didn't you take a shot with something that has more solid fundamentals? Such as Bitcoin? It just had a good fall.

I really hope you are in + now and sell immediately. This coin won't survive for long.

The sheep people like you get out when it's stagnant and jump back in when it's hot so no worries. When the next big news is announced for doge, bunch of people will jump back in. Don't think it's going anywhere, although people scream the sky is falling when it doesn't rise like crazy in a few days.

Nice gamble, hope it pays off for you. If you'd invested the same in bitcoin a few years back you would have been a millionaire.

LOL, people like me do fundamental and technical analysis and don't invest in alts, because at current state all of them are destined to fail.

hah, learn about Auroracoin (went from about $7 to $85 in about a week, although will drop like crazy mid march so sell now) and have a talk with my bank account. Alts aren't going anywhere and if you know how to stay on the pulse of what's popular and in demand there's some good money to be made short-term and long-term. Invest today in mazacoin get out in a week or two and comeback to me and say they're garbage, just a little test for me please. If you want to play it super conservative I get it don't invest in alts but why do you comeback to this thread over and over to bash alts when there is a lot of money being made? You sound like someone that got into bitcoin and can't let go of the fact that other coins are also joining in and doing well.

This is like the dot com boom, a lot will bust, but there will be giants like amazon and google and others that will step up. More and more people are getting into crypto's everyday and it's exploding, if you think there will be only one winner you're way off.

I got out of Doge about a week ago to day trade other cryptos. Although Doge has a great community and is more sound than most secondary coins, it's being moved too much by speculators/traders so I figured if I can't beat them...join them. Funny you mentioned Maza, as I just got in earlier today. This one will take off just like Aurora did over the next week or so and I plan on making 100gs on this play since I'm in so early. That's the hope at least.:)

I suggest if others want to get in to do so before it breaks through the .0002 level and before Cryptsy adds it in a few days. Once Cryptsy adds Maza it should probably double in value since they carry so much volume.

Sorry Doge, I'll be back later once I've made the rounds.
