Ok Dogecoin...You Got Me!

Ya it's an error, happens sometimes, not a real dip that low. Excited to see what this new way to stop multipools will help the price, big news since they won't be able to mine and dump instantly should help stabalize and raise the price, but we will see.

nothing happened, I was on dogepay.com when the graph showed 0 and all the exchanges and the rates of each exchange on dogepay.com did show somewhere near 0.00000130 so it was probably just an error on the site. don't read too much into it.

Is it worth mining coins, if so, is it worth putting more money in, a kind of both sides of the bitcoin, both buy and mining or do you think there's more money in one way or the other, there seems to be less loss in mining if it goes belly up, you can always sell top of the range gpu's from a mining rig, be interested to hear what you guys think

Day trading Doge is great because the market is so fluid. During the day I trade between 130 and 140. During the night Ill put in a buy of around 125 or so hoping to catch some mass sell orders. I rode the train when the block halved. Got out early at around 260. I saw it jump to 300 but was still happy with my gains.

hah, learn about Auroracoin (went from about $7 to $85 in about a week, although will drop like crazy mid march so sell now) and have a talk with my bank account. Alts aren't going anywhere and if you know how to stay on the pulse of what's popular and in demand there's some good money to be made short-term and long-term. Invest today in mazacoin get out in a week or two and comeback to me and say they're garbage, just a little test for me please. If you want to play it super conservative I get it don't invest in alts but why do you comeback to this thread over and over to bash alts when there is a lot of money being made? You sound like someone that got into bitcoin and can't let go of the fact that other coins are also joining in and doing well.

This is like the dot com boom, a lot will bust, but there will be giants like amazon and google and others that will step up. More and more people are getting into crypto's everyday and it's exploding, if you think there will be only one winner you're way off.

Auroracoin - babby's first pump & dump.

You sound like someone that got into bitcoin and can't let go of the fact that other coins are also joining in and doing well.
Because it's really a gamble. You can make money, but might as well lose it. Also, I don't believe in buying BTC in 3 digits.

Doge4Nascar was just recently funded. Honestly I think Doge will be around for the long haul.
The community around it is just so unique.

Wired in 10k to get around 7.5 million Doge. Down about $500 right now but I had to go in a little higher than current market rate in order fill my 10k buy. I really don't care if it rises or falls a few k. I made this play in hopes of it skyrocketing in the future...and that's it. If it tanks to nothing then I already accepted that fact too. I plan to either withdrawal a shit ton of money in the future or have it sink to 0...there will probably be no middle ground for me.

I know Doge started as a joke. However, the perception of it is anything but. I'm not investing on the viability of it being used in our everyday lives. I'm investing on momentum, perception, hype and the illusion of it. Like Gordon Gekko said, "This painting here? I bought it ten years ago for sixty thousand dollars. I could sell it today for six hundred. The illusion has become real, and the more real it becomes, the more desperately they want it."

Just came to bump this post.
So like a typical laggard you bought useless altcoin for 10k-25k in February (the top of bubble).

I told you not to, but you did not listen.

Well, how does it feel to be a bag holder now?

The sheep people like you get out when it's stagnant and jump back in when it's hot so no worries. When the next big news is announced for doge, bunch of people will jump back in. Don't think it's going anywhere, although people scream the sky is falling when it doesn't rise like crazy in a few days.
LOL @ calling me a "sheep". You're the laggards who failed to do fundamental and technical analysis and ended up holding a bag of shit.

Doge had its run. It's ridiculous to think it would be around in the long term. Altcoins are only good for arbitraging for bitcoin.

The trick is to not get attached or greedy. When it's high, you sell. Holding alts long term is a bad strategy.

I elect that this be the douchiest bump in BHW to date. First off, you're assuming I held Doge all the way down, when in fact I got out a long time ago with my head still intact. Second, you bump an old thread to say "I told you so" and that you were so smart back then and people should have listened to you? I'm sure people lost money in Doge...I lost some too. But I was willing to take the longshot risk cause I could afford to. Thanks for the bump though...shows what kind of person you are to bump a thread with the intent to make others feel stupid about their decisions (which I don't) while trying to make yourself look better and smarter than others...LOL. I haven't even thought about Doge for like 5 months, so I'm not sure what kind of point you're trying to make...besides the obvious...you're a douchebag.

P.S.: You're quoting me as saying this which I never did...get your quotes straight.

Sorry, cryptotards just piss me off. Don't take it personally. I was quoting the other guy by the way.

You took out the "Originally posted by" part though? I know you were quoting the other guy (I know what I have and haven't said), but you framed it as if it was a continued quote from me...interesting. That plus the whole bumping to tell me and whoever else off. Whoever you are, stay classy..I'm sure with the approach you have, life will work out for ya, lol.

maybe i missed in the thread, but what were your returns if any?

the only people that get "pissed off by cryptotards" are the ones who missed the boat and are mad. you say you don't believe in buying bitcoin in 3 digits. So its safe to assume your never gonna buy any bitcoin at all.

This is the case where you hate Jack, but everyone is at Jack's house having a good time, and you're outside watching, because you were too busy hating instead of swallowing your pride.

You can bet, all the people who are hating on cryptocurrency now, if they could go back to 2013, they would be long right now.

Regarding Elliot's posts: I have no doubt that he made at least some profit in the crypto industry based on his skillset of security.

It's the exact opposite, I bought dozens years ago. I have not sold any. I still tell anyone, that buying Bitcoin NOW is a HUGE gamble and advise them not to do it. 3 figures for internet money that isn't even mainstream yet is too big of a sum.

What pisses me off is people buying into altcoin scans like Doge, Monero or even Litecoin. How can't you see that they are all pre-mined pump&dumps. In fact, they take away from BTC value.

You have to see why they are bullshit.

Maestro, what coins are you buying?

Doge worth $1?

Do you know that it has basically infinite supply?

Do you even into math?

Litecoin, Dogecoin and considering BTC from today.

Don't do it, or I will come back to bump the thread and say what an idiot you were.

Just buy Bitcoin if you really want to gamble. Not saying it won't fall, it's just a safer bet.

I've never been good at listening to other people, especially when spending my money is a subject :)

So, I will gamble, like I do a lot of times in my life.
Remember this thread and come again after 01/01/15 to tell me what an idiot I was.

In any case, thanks for advice.
