Yeah saw it hit .0025 and then fell some to .0018. At its peak today I could of sold my coins and made 100% profit. But I'm not looking at making just 10k with this. Problem I'm noticing with entering the coin is there aren't enough orders to fill my buys so if I see a really good entry point I can only get a % of my buy covered since most sellers are only selling a few hundred dollars worth. Then the price climbs as you go down the list of sellers. So if I chose to make 1 large buy at once I would end up paying 25% over whatever the current price is. So throughout today I'm just looking for those quick dips and putting in $500-$1000 until I get the rest of the $5k in there.
How high would it have to reach for you to cash out?
Wouldn't do it for less than 6 figures profit, but my hope is to reach 7 I might lose it all too! If it hit .02 cents then I make 200k. .20 cents and it's 2 mill. But I would be very happy reaching just .01 cent for 100k profit and evaluating if I should leave it in. No matter where I am, if it's hitting new highs every day then I'm leaving it in for sure. Again, not saying it will, but that's my strategy if it does.

That reward is split among all miners who found that block.
5 hours left until the halving. I wonder if prices will move up right after the deadline. Although it's somewhat of an arbitrary deadline insofar as increased prices since I'm sure the current price has the halving already built into it. But since the coin has a lot of momentum behind it, there may be upwards movements just from any kind of news regardless of whether we already knew about.

It will never be even close to $1. Don't be delusional. This is just a fad and nobody takes it seriously. It's a Litecoin clone, which in turns is a Bitcoin clone. Clones are never successful. And Doge doesn't have a ceiling to how many can be made, they are infinite basically and therefore worthless. People just haven't realized it yet and are buying into this crap. Learn how economics work.

At this point it's a gamble for people who can afford to lose a few bucks, or a few thousands bucks depending on where they are.
From what I know, people in China, Japan, Korea and other Asian countries have very different ways to entertain than we Europeans, or Americans. I think that a coin like that could be taken pretty seriously by our Asian brothers.
In Korea for example the professional gaming have a HUGE following. Even better following than the majority of real sports. I can't give exact numbers or facts, as I don't know it, but I know this is true. Different people, different cultures. I believe that by the end of this year, Doge will be sitting very well on #2 right after Bitcoin.
Just my opinion and expectations, I'm not an expert in neither economics, markets or crypto currencies.

There will be an inflation of 5 Billion doge annually, that is not infinite

personally i think it is crap like the rest of crap coins that are created every day just look few months ago were 30 now 100+ but if you have few k $ to throw into it and not regret if lose then why not you never know maybe you be lucky to become millionare in future

Bitcoin is serious business.
Price is looking pretty good right now for a buying opportunity. Problem is I won't be able to wire more money into my trading account until Monday, so who knows where it will be by then. Anyone else considering buying on this dip?
