i feel i haven't had a reply...email sent.

Sometimes we want to track the sites in the SERPs for a few days before reviewing the site and replying so we can see if the current ranks are stable and few other such factors. If you have sent a request we will respond to it as we always do.

I wanted to make a follow up post for all potential customers.

Do not use The Ranking Guys

I will post my experience with them below, and I have a feeling im not the only one

-During the first month and the signup process they are very responsive and good at handling questions. Once you've been with them a few months they will not reply to requests. Period. I have still NEVER received a ranking report. Not 1 email. I have sent them a number of emails that go unresponded too. I post in this thread after not hearing from them and being hit by the latest October 4 update and I get a response to PM them my skype info. (two things, ive been a customer for 6+ months and talked with them on skype but they still dont have my skype info... secondly, I reached out to them multiple times on skype and never received a response).

They dont tell you any of the links that they make, which is understandable to an extent, but the ones I did find through moz.com were crap. None of my rankings went up when using them.

In all, they spend their time responding to potential customers in this thread and then once they get you, you will fall to the wayside and your site will be outsourced to whoever they have linkbuilding.

If any potential customers have any questions or want proof of any of my claims please dont hesitate to PM me. I have cancelled my service and will be looking at alternative SEO options.

Thanks for the order request! We have been working on improving our customer service. In fact, these days there is someone on skype almost all the time in case a client needs to contact us.

I've out your site through a service called linkresearch, that will sort the live links from the dead ones. It will also show links that the major link checkers tend to ignore. That will take a few hours (which is annoying as it cost's a fortune.)


I totally understand your frustration and I will get to the bottom of it.

I started with TheRankingGuys more than a year ago and have sent around $4,000 their way; $3,700 for the site below.

I should have stopped much sooner - they NEVER came close to their "guaranteed" results. I was told 2-5 months for my 10 KWs (quite a few of the KW's I'd already been working on were already in the top 10).....nothing is in the top 10 now

Yes; I feel a mug for staying with them this long.

I guess I hoped they would turn it around. I guess I hoped they'd respond properly to any of my emails. I hoped they would give a damn....but it seemed they didn't.

NOTE: For the past 15months NOTHING on my site has changed; we use the same theme/layout, we add the same type/quantity of content, we have no more/less adverts and we have carried out no other link building as requested.

So overall, a very poor experience - large serps/traffic drops, cannot see much evidence of work being done, poor communication and nearly $4,000 worse off

the site has had a manual penalty and some other algor. penalties. what you did was sending me different disavow file. none of them worked. the disavow that has finally worked was a file i have done on my own.
you didn't show any links you have placed..if any...nothing...
there is no transparancy..and if you are honest, for 800 usd you haven't worked longer than 1 hour

I have decided to bow out of this partnership for a variety of things related to how Dan and I operate. We see things much too differently for me to consider staying on board so effective immediately I am no longer a part of this BST nor a part of TheRankingGuys.com.


In that I have no access to the site content/hosting, I have sent an email to Dan and asked him to remove my name from the site as a partner or as having anything to do with TheRankingGuys so if it is still up there it is beyond my control.

If you have paid and been dissatisfied with the service within the past few months and did not get what you paid for, I would be willing to personally take care of you and not charge you anything as my reputation has much more value than any money and I would not want anyone that paid for something that I am associated with to not get what they paid for.
