G'day BHWers,
I might have a silly question, but I'm struggling with this for some time and I'm not able to find my answer, so I will ask here.

If I purchase a WP theme on ThemeForest what do I need to set it up? Is WordPress Premium (for $99/yr) enough or do I need also a "special" wordpress hosting by DreamHost or other companies which offer this? Or could I buy the theme and set it directly to the DreamHost, which claims to be "wordpress compatible"?

I just want to set up a simple, bilingual "half ecommerce" site with simple shopping cart? Do you have any suggestions how to get it? I know there are many plugins offered by WP so it shouldn't be a problem I guess.

Any server that can run php is wordpress compatible. It's all marketing strategy and nothing else. If you need pretty permalinks, your server would need to have mod rewrite enabled. Go for any server ( dreamhost as for example) that has that enabled. I would prefer getting a linux server with cpanel because it makes your life easier.
Install wordpress using "one click installers" such as fantastico and upload the premium theme you purchase. for ecommerce either use WP Ecommerce, or use Woocommerce.

I'm not sure is this right spot to ask question about one WP plugin, from recently my WP Wizard Cloak stopped working.
I have version 1.07 and 1.08.

I'm legal owner of this plugin, but it doesnt' work for me, I checked site, site is pretty much down.

Is there way that I make plugin think it is registered, legal, I do have license key, but it can't check on server, as site is down

If they stopped developing the plugin, then it is very unlikely that you would get the updated version. I would suggest you to use another one. Also try contacting their support.

Hi, I have a wordpress site, I tried to move it to a different folder but I screwed it up somehow along the way. I moved everything back to the original root directory, the home page now loads but now all the other pages - including the admin login - give an internal server error. Can anyone help with this please?

Hello, just wondering if anyone could tell me how to make my domain information private? If i go to whois they have my name and address and i want to get rid of that. i registered my domain through wordpress(noob mistake) and i paid extra for there privacy feature but still all my info is out. any advice would be appreciated thank you

I have an issue in my WP.

After the newest update of WP, my plugins which are dealing with sending the emails just stop working. No broken message or something. Just it seems like everything working, but its not sending (or receiving) the emails.
Specifications:

- I have woocommerce and after order no email receiving (or sending?) by admin nor buyer
- Contact form 7 = after sending form no email receiving (or sending?) by admin nor buyer
- I did try another contact forms also.

I search on google and some ppls have this same problem, but not working solution for me yet.:ebay:

I actually wanted to ask question about Wordpress Woocommerce.

Q) How can I disable or block "/cart" or "/pay" Pages ? because I'm continously getting 404 error in Google Webmaster Tool Under Crawl Errors Section. It's actually a different url everytime

E.g

www.Websitename.com/product-page1/cart
www.websiteName.com/Product-page1/pay
www.websiteName.com/category/pay
www.websitename.com/category/cart

I already tried to apply No Index, No Follow setting on those specific Pay and Cart Page by Yoast Plugin but still I'm getting those pages found 404 by Google Everyday.

Another question is regarding "Googlebot can't access your site" I have already contacted the Website Hosting Provider, they said everything is fine my our side. but I'm getting this warning twice a week. This started happens from Jan 2014.

I don't know how can overcome these 2 issues. kindly suggest me something for these issues.

Now, I'm trying to make my websites cache. As gtmetricx says I'm only at 26% on the "leverage browser cacheing" area. I recently came across the "w3 total cache" for wordpress which I installed (mydomain/plugin). What I'm cant wrap my head around is if the cache is only in effect for the "site" that was made when I made when I was installing wordpress. During the installation process your asked where on your domain you want to install it, so yes that's pretty much my problem, is the cache in effect for my actual site and not just the one I created?

If anybody wants they should PM me and I'll show them and hopefully beable to explain further.
