Hi

I need help in doing that virus scan on files first before i give stuff away on here?, i have searched the forum and can not find a tutorial on what needs to be done before uploading stuff to share?

I have stumbled across a website that has a freebie section like blackhatworld but this site seems to get some unique software and seo stuff etc etc before anyone else, i just got lucky when i found this site

so any help with how to do the virus scan thing before i get started uploading some good free items on here would be appreciated :)

Most anti-virus programs, once installed, allow you to right-click a target file to scan it for viruses...

Excellent, thank you very much ..that helped alot :)

cheers

It looks like i will not be able to scan these videos with virustotal because they are bigger than 64mb

I have the High traffic academy level 2 videos so if i scan them with my NOD32 antivirus i can just grab the report of the virus scan from nod32 and post it on here with the HTA level 2 videos?

is that correct, that would be ok?

Here is the link you need
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/582990-update-member-downloads-rules-virustotal-additional-requirements.html

uh ha!, that's the thread i've been looking for, cheers

so i do not have to add a virustotal because the files are way bigger than 64MB, all i have to add is a "download at your own risk" message

also what is the best upload site? that gives the most options and data?

I have a paid subscription to mediafire account but i don't want it to risk ever getting it banned

Download an anti-malware like malware bytes anti-malware and do a complete scan. Or scan with an online virus scanner like Eset online.

When a scanner of some kind is installed you can probably just right-click a file on your computer and select an option 'scan with....'

Just use virustotal and upload the file it will scan it and give a free report. It will also give you a link to the report you
can share with everyone.
