So here is my prob with clickbank:

.............................................................................................................

1- I live in a country not accepted by clickbank, but I still managed to get an account an year or so ago.

2- I used an address that was once mine long ago when I was in another country. Not mine anymore, but someone told me that you can change addresses easily with clickbank once you are in.

3- I kept accumulating commissions and not requesting payout, until I figure out where to send the money. I decided I want it to be wire transferred to one of my bank accounts in an approved country.

4- I found out they only do wire transfers after your first three checks (mailing).

5- I can request checks before wire transfer.. can send them to a friend/relative who lives in another country, and they send it to me. But the prob is that if I cashed the checks from where I am, clickbank might notice.

6- I don't know where the edit address is in the clickbank backoffice,,, it was once there long ago, but now it isn't. I assume I need to contact them to change the address.

7- I don't think there is a way to change my name and make it my friends name, to issue the checks in his name. That way he can cash them from where he is and sends me the money easily. Not likely, as I highly doubt such option exists.

8- I'm kindda starting to sense that the s*** I'm in is actually deep! Is there a way out? A friend suggested keeping the money in there with them, until I get out of the country. Don't like that. Is there any other solution?

Thanks amigos....

This might not be the best way because I am no expert but you could try phoning or emailing them. Don't tell them who you are but tell them that you signed up while you were in a country that is allowed and between then and now you have moved, see what their reaction is and it might be OK. If they say that it is OK then you are good to go and if they say that it is not allowed then you will have to think of something else.

The problem is that you can't call them.

You can definitely change your address and I am almost sure you can change the payee name.

Log in to your account and click on all the account related tabs until you find where you can change it.

Hope this makes sense.

Le us know how you get on

I recall in the past I can see that option. But now however I try, there is no edit function.

I'll take a better look around...

Thanks...

#7 is very possible. You can change the payee name to who ever you like.

And I suggest you promote other programs/systems other than clickbank after this because this is an inefficient payment system for you

What if you had your total owed mailed in a check and then cashed that check. Of course you might be screwing future income, but you probably could get away with getting all of that money. Otherwise probably the best bet is to change the payee. That shouldn't be a problem, because it could be the same as hiring a secretary or something and then you would need that person to be cashing the checks for you. So it should work. Good luck.

first when i joining clickbank my country also not in their "allowed" list but didnt have any problem to cleared the cheque in my local country. I dont think they will look into which country you are bank in the check since clickbank have a lot of transaction per 2 week. Just my 2 cent

Maybe your country became "allowed" after that.

hi you can change the payee name as well as you mailing address. I am already doing this as I also live in a country not listed in clickbank. I get all my paychecks at UK mailing address and the payee send me the money after encashment.

Could you not cash the cheque if it was sent to your friend who then sent it to you? Or do they not allow the cheque to be cashed at all in a foreign country?

Ok guys, I think I'll have to change the payee name and the address.

However, most of my friends and relatives are in the U.S. and I don't wanna pay taxes.

.

Does clickbank auto-deduct taxes for US publishers, before sending out payments?

You can change the payee name and adress. I did it. But I send them an -email first and explain it. People married, divorce, change the country, is normal thing and they should allow it without problem.

Mystery, Clickbank does not deduct taxes for US business. We are responsible to take care of that ourselves :)

Sorry 'bout the stupid question, but was so worried to the point I lost commonsense!

I'll need to send it to a friend in the US in his name. He will have to cash it and send me the money via whatever other method. I hope they don't give him a hard time.

Why not send it to your friend and he forward it to you, you then cash it in your country....

Because my country isn't approved with clickbank, and they may notice the check was cashed in it. Further jeopardizing any possible future checks from them.
