Fatt Slutts Is Trying to Break Our Spirits

I don't see why everyone hates Fat Slutts so much you should all be proud of our daughter because she is making this whole SEO game much much easier. I watch my daughter with awe as she helps her father rank with less links and much less work. I knew she would do me proud one day. Love you sweetie x
HAHAHAHA! That's one hell of a daughter you've got there. LOL

I think Fatt Slutts just likes to brag a lot.

Matt Cutts is head of Google's propaganda division. He tosses all kinds of BS out there so that we talk about it in forums, seo blogs and elsewhere. The BS that spews from Cutts' mouth is an attempt by Google to confuse webmasters and change the topic of discussion from recent events such as Google being fined $1.2 million by a Spanish privacy watchdog and Canada going after Google for antitrust violations. Good companies don't get this kind of press, but evil doers most certainly do.

Google is rolling out fiber lines in Texas so that people can use their broadband to connect to the internet, go to YouTube to watch videos and search for things on Google. People can connect to the internet with their mobile device running the Google owned Android operating system. And when these people are online, they can click ads that Google controls 1/3 of globally. When it comes down to it, the main topic of discussion should be how Google has grabbed control over so much of the internet and why no government agencies are calling for them to be broken up.

Most of the excesses that current Google employees enjoy, such as high salaries and extraordinary perks, come at a cost of Google consuming many small business jobs in the United States and beyond. The more small businesses that die in organic search, the more Adwords customers Google will have and profits will rise. Google, for all-intensive purposes, has become the internet's version of cancer - growing uncontrollably and damaging everything in its path.

Don't forget that Google invests in many other companies. Google Ventures financially backs 225 companies, many of which are taken to IPO. These Google backed companies do great in Google's search engine and Google profits directly from their successes.

Google's Internet Association is a group that claims to be the "unified voice of the internet economy." Small businesses are not included in their elite membership, but many of the companies in this "cartel" do really well in Google's search engine. Combined, they also control most of the internet traffic.

If anything, Google's actions over the last 1-2 years are helping ordinary people see Google for exactly what they are - an out of control monopoly. Let it strengthen your resolve to do what you personally can to see that Google does not take over the internet entirely. Whether you write a government agency/politician to complain or remove Google's Analytics spyware code from a website, doing something positive is better than sitting around with a "broken spirit" like Google hopes to accomplish.

Happy Holidays! :)

This is one of the best quality posts I have seen in my years at BHW.

This goes for many companies, not just Google. They start out with good intentions and the human condition hit them, with power comes greed and with greed comes more greed. On that note, I don't think Matt Cutts is trying to break the spirits of black hatters, I think he is trying to stop the SEOs from breaking his spirit. He has an extremely stressful, high status job and at a global monster of a company. They will eventually break his spirit and the spirit of every poor person that has done countless years of intense study to spend their entire life and a job that they must pretend to love by playing table tennis for a YouTube video. The people they employee are often extremely intelligent and they will see, like Matt Cutts has, what Google really is.

Looks like they rolled out another algo tweak looking at the serp trackers just before the christmas break ... sweet of them

All of the recent deindexings is meant to do exactly that and I bet its extremely effective for Google.

More and more people are "confused" about what works. And when there's confusion people will simply give up.

Another half due to webmasters being too scared to buy links to anything but doorways or other churn'n'burn sites.

What people actually use other peoples networks for their money sites? LOL, no wonder there are people getting upset, I will only touch my "real" sites with my own network of sites, not someones public network.

So what has Matt gained? Well he has taught people to use their own network of sites instead of someone elses. Something most people know in the first place, but if you did not, there you go, Matt has taught you a lesson. Nothing new here, this shit is from the 90s.

In Mein Kampf, Hitler said this about propaganda;
"Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively and, in so far as it is favorable to the other side, present it according to the theoretical rules of justice; yet it must present only that aspect of the truth which is favorable to its own side"

So, be aware that if you choose to follow Matt Cutts propaganda, you're only hearing one side of the story - that which is favorable to Google.

Checked it out. For a long time, people have been down on advertisement, whether it's TV commercials or now links. The problem they feel is that people are somehow being harmed or manipulated, but that's not true. Our world is filled with persuasions that people can choose to use or choose to ignore.

Buy up expired domains and create your own blog network. Problem solved.

People would be nuts to buy any type of link packages right now that are hosted on domains. That includes SAPE links (as Anglo Ranks was using SAPE links), or any public blog network.

All blog networks that accept customers are public blog networks. There's only 1 true private network, and thats the type you build yourself. Go out and buy some expired domains and build your own blog network with high PR/DA/PA domains.

Anything else right now would be very unwise to use on any site you care about long term.

So 'people' should instead buy links that are hosted on... thin air? I don't understand your statement.

Glad you asked.

Social links have value, free blogs are great.

Reaching out and buying links from blogs that are not actively trying to sell links is a winner.

Beyond that, you don't buy links. You buy domains and create your own links.

Matt Cutts is putting it out there that they're chasing after all public blog networks now. To assume they don't mean it, or are not capable of it, is like playing Russian Roulette. Nobody sane would do this to any site they care about.

Google attacked Anglo Ranks which = 90% SAPE links. Its obvious that any hosted domain that is part of a link package is vulnerable for targeting. Google called out the "Russian" network before and its only logical to assume they're starting to execute on this now.

So you don't buy link packages to important sites, period. You buy your own expired domains and create your own backlinks on your own private blog network. That is the only safe thing to do for established websites.

Which are then links that are 'hosted on domains'...

Yes exactly. But here's the difference.

When I create my blog network, I'm not selling links to anyone. No shill from Google is going to buy links on my personal blog network, map it all out, and spoonfeed it to Google. Its therefore "private".

Its clear that jealous vendors in the BST thread have lately been scoping out competition and mapping out the blog networks, feeding it to Google. Cutts came out with a video saying how these blog networks are getting spoon-fed to Google from users. In other words, Google knows how to bust your ass when you use this type of links.

Real buyers get caught up in all this drama with BST sellers destroying each other's networks. I know of many extremely penalized domains right now that got caught up in this.

Repeat -- public blog networks are dangerous. I know you like to split hairs on the definition of that term, so let me rephrase it -- any link purchased on domains that are used as a blog network (regardless if it is a broker assembling the links, or if the blogs are owned by who is selling the links) is incredibly dangerous to use on money sites right now.

To answer your question, there is no way that Google will ever discover my blog network, because I'm not making it available to anyone. Nobody knows about it -- so it is impossible for me to get busted by Google buying in, or jealous BST sellers turning me in, or even getting caught-by-association by having the same link profile as someone else who is disavowing their links. Buy your own expired domains and build your own backlinks is the only solution for professional SEO today.

Don't forget that as you do your SEO tasks over the Google fiber, you are giving Google direct insight to how you work.

Google is many things, but stupid is not one of them. Consider what they've done:

They have managed to turn SEO into a game of actual warfare

In warfare, people get eliminated (in this case websites), and that's how Google likes it.

To encourage the internecine warfare among webmaster they created the "report spam blog"

Google just sits back and collects all the information it needs from other webmasters.

That site you just outranked will be checking your link profile, and reporting any suspicious activities to Google.

Google does not want to kill SEO, they just want to substantially reduce the numbers of participants in the game to make it manageable.

It's working like a charm, and what is yet to come will probably nuke a lot of sites. The rumors are flying they're about to release the mother of all updates. Hold on to your seat belt and buckle up, it's about to get real bumpy.

What we can do: For Blog Network Owners

I must say some link sellers are just plain ignorant of basic common sense. Why would you spend thousands of dollars to build a network and then populate them with spun crap, that's practically valueless. It's like buying a house on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and letting rats and roaches take over because you have Section 8 or welfare tenants.

To make matters worse, some of these blog networks constantly use 200 to 400 word articles and the links have no relevance to what the blog is about. If your network is not affected yet, immediately take it off-line and reassess your strategy. You must understand you have bullets coming at you from all directions; some of your fellow competitors on this forum and other forums, will collect your data and report you to Google with a wink and a smile. Google could just place many spies in all relevant forums and have them attain status, goodluck finding out who they're. They'll buy your services and just get the data they need. Contrary to all the sales thread that says no foot-print, you gotta to be kidding yourself. Once you expose your network to the public, Google would and can find you, it's much easier than most people think.

So, if you have a blog network, you should try to do the following to limit your risk;

Charge monthly fees and limit the number of sign-ups. Create niche specific sites to better reflect the types of links you're selling. Cluster of 25 to 50 niche specific sites should be enough to rank many keywords

Stop using spun crap, regardless of what type of spinner you're using. You're just throwing the baby out with the bath water. Original content for each post. Content length should average 750 to 1200 words with just two or three links. One link to the paying customer and one outbound link to an authority site in your niche.

Another metrics used by Google to determine link farm site, is the lack of monetization methods. Put some ads on those sites and allow for comments, that's how real blogs operate. Yes, other people do it, but you want to appear legit.

Vet potential customers, by using any metrics you can come up with. I doubt any Google spy is a NEWBIE, so going by post count is not a sufficient metrics to use. Hell, I have some metrics in mind, but you're the one making the dough, so put on your thinking hat and come up with something viable to use.

Once you have 20 to 25 customers paying monthly fees to rank, close that network and just create another one. The paying customers can pay for new articles to rank other keywords, and you just roll off the older post to inner pages.

Create Google+ pages for those sites (different accounts) and just make comments on the sites. You want each blog to look like a life breathing website, not some old site just used for selling links.

Some of the blog network owners might see the above suggestions as too much work, but your short-cuts are killing your customers one by one, and unless you change, you'll have to return that Mercedes-Benz. Customers are the life-blood of any business and you cannot survive long if your product is causing or perceived to cause substantial damage. I am not in that business, but I hear it's very lucrative, so just spend the money and create it the right way.

For the link Sellers:

If you've noticed, quality links is what counts nowadays, not quantity. Google is coming after web 2.0 sites next. Some of you might say no-way, but it makes perfect logical sense. The amount of crap people upload to those sites is mind boggling. After driving blog networks deep under-ground, the web 2.0 sites are the next logical target for Matt Cutts. To those that disagree, you just have to look at trends to see what's coming in the pipeline.

Try to submit quality contents, as the owners of these sites will start cracking down, when Google starts dropping most of them like flies. Some might say no way, and I say be patient as that fat guy is not done creating havoc yet.

We constantly educate Google as to what works as far as ranking goes. If you can, please try to create your own private blog network that you only control. It's an effective strategy that's still been used by the big BOYS and now that it is public knowledge, Google is clueless how to stop it, hence the fight against the public ones.

For all those looking to buy links or create links, proceed with caution as no one really knows the true ranking perimeters anymore. While we have some reputable backlink providers on this forum, some I would not touch with a ten foot pole. Only in extreme cases do they send out backlink warning, nowadays they just apply the punishment without any notice to your webmaster tool in-box.

Matt Cutts the EVIL genius has webmasters shooting each other, and some that do not see the "act of WAR" strategy, are wandering why he's always laughing in his videos. Give him credit, he has us on our heels and for those that do not adapt, be prepared to get a regular JOB.

Except when you rank on top 3 spots and you get turned by your competition.

Actually if you set it up properly with some confusing metrics, most webmasters will not be able to link or connect all the websites to your ownership. Remember the key give-away point for blog networks is the insane amounts of links to other websites.

Your own blog network would have just a few, which is perfectly normal in case of manual review by Google. With good setup structure, excellent long awesome contents, link-out to relevant authority sites and some monetization, your private blog network should pass any manual review.

Ha ha. I think it's more painfull for normar webmasters then for smammers :)

Unless you use robots to block ahrefs and similar sites, and nobody knows what your link profile is, hehe.
