Amazon Affliliate Site with Wordpress + WooCommerce - Need better payment gateway ideas

As the title tried to explain (lol), I have set up an Amazon affiliate store on a domain using wordpress in combination with woocommerce. The site looks really professional, however on purchases, buyers are always funneled to Amazon.

Is there a way (a wp plugin perhaps) that will allow me to complete the checkout process within my site and preferably using my theme (not some amazon checkout iframe BS). I checked around but haven't come across anything yet. Any ideas?

Because is an Amazon affiliate Store and the items you sell have the coding of Amazon I don't think you could find a way to cash them into your website. Even though you might find something this could be against Amazon Regulations. I hope it helps. - Anne

Thanks for your reply Anne. Yeah unfortunately I believe I'll have no other choice but to use Amazon for payments. This is unfortunate because I have been having 30+ clicks per day for orders, but once the users are redirected to Amazon for payment and realize my site is only an affiliate, they drop the order.

You can use your payment gateway if you act like a middle man.You take the order and the money then go to amazon and place the order and have it shipped to the client.Other than that i don't see any way around it

I'm been having a very similar problem. I've toyed with my site extensively, but 80% of the time, when the customer realizes that it's an affiliate site, the order is dropped. I've accepted that it can probably never be a big money site and just take it for what it is. I've even found on some of the my other sites that customers don't like being redirected to paypal. I know that this isn't the solution you're looking for, but I would suggest using your current site as a small income source and creating your own product that you can sell on a site with multiple, in-site payment options. Shopify has worked pretty well for me.

Affiliate or not, the best way to solve this is to have a large selection of products and use the affiliate programs of different websites. You may win here by "quantity" but you have to work a lot for this!

DiamonMike: I like the middleman idea and am considering that option. I could import the Amazon products, add a 20% markup, and make way more than amazon would ever give me. It would definitely solve my payment redirection issue and allow me to make more money in the process. I'm just a little wary of the customer service aspect of it. I would be screwed if a $2000 TV (for example) got sent to the wrong address, was lost, damaged, etc.

Unless you are dropshipping, this is not possible.

Have you looked into WooCommerce Amazon plugin?
