Mass Following on Twitter is Over?

I think they're wanting to put a stop to it because I think it's a functionality that people are abusing and it's starting to be used more for spam than anything else. Just my thoughts.

hey I cant PM yet. i need more posts. but ill just say it was the "android glitch" i was taking advantage of. up until yesterday when twitter came out with a new android update and apparently you cant follow anyone from the old apps anymore.

They simply capped following limits via the Android API. You can still follow up to 1k people a day there I've heard, and you can still follow more then from the desktop version.

You'll be able to follow people, but you'll just end up getting suspended if you follow too many / too quickly. Mass following should only be done very gradually and with aged accounts.

Yup, it's a slippery slope, you just can't get too greedy, find a good number that keeps you safe and run with it.

I was following 50,000 people some days and unfollowing about the same on other days up until yesterday when they patched this. It seems mass following is over exploiting the android glitch. Anyone who actually knows what there talking about have any ideas?

Its patched, over with and done. Im sure you were using the bluestacks method, but its over, no matter what u do they patched it

Still working for me. I just followed 3,000 to test it. It might have something to do with the fact that I have auto-updates of apps off though.
