Could you please explain this more detailed? What do you mean by head over to google adwords keyworld tool? And how do you find out if he gets over 200 searches?
Thanks.
First, please change your text color from blue to... anything easier to read against a black background.
Google Keyword Planner has replaced the Adwords Keyword Tool. Google that (or better yet, ) and either figure it out on your own through experimentation (should take much - it's pretty straight forward) or peep one of the various guides on the internet... YouTube, even. That'll give you good visual instruction.
Your final question will be answered if you do what I suggested![]()
I am completely new to marketing. I am very interested in this method, can someone please help me out with step 6? I didn't know what link building is, so I googled, and I have a vague idea of what it is. I don't know what the OP means by creating an article or press release, or the methods in scrape box.
Okay, I have read the links given, but my question is (because I found this thread from the blackhat section), would there be any penalty for these tactics? Can the business you are trying to rank on the first page, get black listed for any misteps? and how to avoid it if possible?
Yeah typically you should use 'whitehat' tactics when working with an offline business, but there are ways around it. If you're going to do blackhat stuff, make it clear to your client that that's what's happening. There's a good thread on churn-and-burn offline client websites but I won't be able to find it.
You'd be best off sticking with whitehat tactics (though the great boomboomer may disagree with me on this one - I'd like to hear if he has anything different to say).
Exactly this! I'd be very concerned if i were to use a black hat method to blast a site to the top of G just to watch them fall into oblivion shortly there after. This does not seem to be a very good business model especially if done locally! If one were to use only white hat solutions or grey hat without consequence, how long of a time period should be given to the client (i know it depends, just a ball park of 1 or 3 months will do). Also, can anyone suggest quicker methods to rank a site without getting penalized? Would the best option by tiered link building, silo, or minding over optimization? I'm still a noob and plan on testing on my own sites first but answers to these questions would be a big help
okay but if we set up an agreement with the client that i am responsible for only getting them to the first page with no duration, then we are okay right? also, if i use fiverr to outsource the article submission and link building, is that blackhat? cause if it's not, then the only problem would be the duration problem right?
also, could whit hat strategies be outsourced?
