Has anybody recovered yet to pre-service rankings? I submitted my reconsideration request on Tuesday. How long does it take to get reviewed?

Yes, my website seems to be recovering quite well so far, while HREFS shows not all high PR links are removed / crawled yet. Page 7 was the highest page pre-service, yesterday it was on page 7 again and right now it's actually on page 6. But it'll probably bounce around a lot during the next few weeks. During the time the 150 high PR links were active, the highest position reached was #1 on page 2 (heavy comp keyword with about 60K monthly exact searches).

I'm actually considering a new high PR links membership, as it seems to be true that Google doesn't de-index websites for unnatural link building. The trick is to get some ROI, before (!) Google starts to destroy your rankings. Then let it recover and do it again.

For those who are wondering, these links still work extremely well, even more so following our extensive filtering recently. However, for the time being, these links are best used on churn and burn sites or buffers.

Not sure how you arrived at this assumption, but no, the service is not dead and will not get your site deindexed. These links still extremely well work albeit now come with some risk if pointed directly at your site. We are currently implementing a couple of changes to this service, which should minimize that risk while still keeping the results as good as they have been. We will be making an announcement about it soon once everything is ready. In the meantime, you can still use this service by passing the links through buffers (web 2.0s, press releases, etc) or by using them on churn and burn websites.

Those are some pretty extreme ranking improvements for sure. You should see your rankings climb further in the coming days as more links get indexed.

We're seeing a lot of great & and lasting results on a lot of the recent subscriptions, which is wonderful and encouraging after the recent developments and Google updates.

Furthermore we are concluding our last batch of internal tests for the recent changes we have implemented and we will add a few more custom options to the PR packages in the coming days (probably tomorrow) to make them available to the public.

As a profitable page 1 ranking (in my niche page 2 isn't that profitable) is of course the ultimate goal.

To conclude my review: SEOlutions' High PR Links service and their new approach, seems to be working quite well post Google update. The biggest noticeable difference, is that the link building itself goes much slower now. But that is of course a good thing, as this will help your website to stay under Google's radar. So all in all, SEOlutions' High PR Links service is still delivering results and makes it look as if the Google update has never happened

Thank you for that detailed review, Ralph. We will tweak a few things in your campaign which should hopefully push you up to that profitable page 1 ranking. It bears mentioning though that a page 2 ranking from nowhere for a brand new site for such a competitive keyword is extremely good.

Re page 2 being an extremely good result: yes, I completely agree with you on that. I'd also like to add that the primary keyword we're talking about, has 60.500 (!) monthly exact searches. On top of that, another secondary keyword, with 90.500 monthly exact searches, went from not indexed to bouncing between page 6 - 9 in just 2 weeks. And I suspect it will climb even further in the upcoming weeks. So even the high comp, high search volume secondary keywords are showing great results. I'm glad I gave high PR links a chance post Google update!
