SAPE Finally Busted?

all of my websites using sape got the warning and rankings are down across the board.

fuck!

what are your guys plan of attack now?
Dont put your eggs in one basket.
There are plenty more methods to rank sites which dont involve SAPE.

thanks for the pointless post my question is what is the plan of attack for those hit by a sape penalty, not your opinion on my previous seo techniques.

there are a few networks running which are working fine. you just have to look harder. if everyone uses the same network g00gle has no choice but to look at it.

Did you even read the thread?
You remove the subscription for the sape links. Let the links drop out and see if it recovers. If not try a reconsideration request.

My first experience with sape: 5 days ago i bought 9 links (PR 1&2, all home page links) to one inner page. The page was ranking #8 #9 on a low competition keyword, then it slowly climb to #5. Today it dropped to #11 and then #12. I hope this is just a normal boucing.

One of my sites that use SAPE only got hit last month, so its safe to say that google is fully aware of SAPE. Whether or not they're going to hit the entire network is questionable. They can destroy the network at any time if they want, they're Google. A multi billion dollar company has the means to do pretty much what ever they want. But I'm guessing their webspam team is spread out further than just SAPE, so I'm going to still be using it and you should too.

2 of the sites (used Sape links) which got warning 3 days back dropped in rankings today.

some of obvious footprints from sape-like networks:
- RU hosting
- .ru extension
though my seller is very friendly and tried his best to supply me with links from US hosting and non .ru sites, i still get 50% .ru and 80% RU Ips and many of them are hosting a the same RU IP.
it's not magic to see unnatural and unlogic things from site hosted at US and get most of its high PR links from RU.
We all know about localization search engines for long time, dont we?

There's an option to only select english sites (or .coms)

This made my Sat read. Oh, those cheeky Russians, a major headache for Cutts. The problem is of course not that it is hard to bust the Sape links, the problem is purely computational. Too big to track and crack.

Sape gives them a run for their cash big time.

My rankings just took a real bad dive yesterday . Didn't receive any unnatural link message. I dropped off google completely for several keywords and the rest of them took a penalty of about -80 in rankings.

weird..

30 sites of mine are still in good rankings....

i guess you guys have used it in the wrong way..

I was extremely careful in my link selection.

However I didn't use the hidden links that don't publish where they are being posted, do you?

for those who PM me about how to use these types of links properly, just post it here...

so that everyone can read it..

google cannot kill sape. relax people, just refresh your links from time to time ie when matt posts ;)

I find it hilarious that 99% of the time, webmasters do google's job for them!!!

All Catt Mutts has to do is post a video with plenty of FUD, then hire shills to go around forums posting "OMG I got banned" and done! Webmasters run to their stations to disavow links, report competitors and so on, even though those things are SEO suicide.....

Also there are lot of factors to check on and should not jump into conclusions immediately.

For those who plan to use what those sellers so called whitehat methods, in 3-5 mos you will meet bancruptcy..

hi denica, ok so what have you done differently? interested in knowing this. about 80% of my sites where hit but not the biggest earner (yet). what i did: .org,.net,.com sites only (though provider still snuck in about 3% .ru sites.) many sites still in russian, though.. perhaps this is the problem. also, used about 6 exact match keyword per order. i might try only long tail or generic keywords in future... so what did you do? regards

I posted this in another thread but will repeat it here as well...

I used MY OWN SAPE ACCOUNT. I HAND PICKED every single site I bought a link for. Made sure it was indexed and had decent links and good PA/DA. I ONLY used .com, .net, and .org sites and EVERY SITE was an ENGLISH site (most were .com links actually). I did not buy 100's of links. In fact I had less than 60 total. I didn't buy them all at once either but staggered over many different days. Stayed on top of them CONSTANTLY. None of them were deindexed by G, etc..

I GOT WHACKED on Sunday like many others. If you didn't, more power to you. But STOP SPEWING THIS COMPLETE BULLSHIT that people who are getting penalized have no clue what they're doing, because I forgot more about what I was doing than most morons will ever know. And I got whacked.

Yeah I can solve it with a 301 but I REALLY don't want to do that with this domain. Haven't had to do a reconsideration before (didn't care but this time I do). From what I read it's basically a waste of time for most, but I'll try it. Any advice to achieve success with it is highly appreciated.
