Facebook fanpage STOLEN

Yesterday I created a topic about how I'm afraid my fanpage gets stolen, and the worst happened /:

I just noticed I wasn't ADMIN anymore, no warning letter from facebook, or anything..

Now the only thing that is left for me, is to LEGALY ask for it back, via the law/police or anything..
What would you do instead?

I have screen shots of me as admin, holding MY ID, etc..

What would you suggest?

Sorry to hear that. Never been in that or similar situation, so I don't have any advices.

I will for sure, I'm gathering as much information as I can, but one thing I can't figure out. What to tell the police as the REASON for the transfer of the page from HIM, to ME?

I can't tell them I bought it...

Define stolen? Did you make someone manager? If so then the manager has the right to remove managers. Never give someone manager access of your pages. They can do whatever they need as content creator without the risk of kicking you out.

If you have paid via paypal with the seller, try calling up paypal with a dispute with the payment.

You were admin and he Removed you as Admin Simple Maths if you paid with Paypal file dispute

Guys, I know the little tricks and things for fanpages. I never make anyone a manager, I never LOG IN from other pcs, I use SMS verification for EVERY LOG IN!!

My account wasn't hacked, because if it was, they would've stolen my other page too. They got it via a BUG or god knows how!! I'm a pro for fanpages, I never fall for anything, trust me! This must be a facebook bug or something!

So if a guy from outside your state steals you, you can't "call the police" (that's not the way I said it anyways) ?

you can't do anything, police can't do anything, you are basically screwed, i don't know if you read my reply on the other them but this can happen to you very easily if the page you bough is categorizes as PLACE, if this is the case, facebook just gave it back to the previous owner and you can't do anything about it, fill a paypal dispute for physicall goods, is all you can do

Agreed.

Sorry it happened OP but it sounds like you knew you were dealing with dodgy guys. Unless you can charge back then take it as a loss and move on.

well there is no such bug that can make anyone hack your page without getting into managers account or getting into managers pc i mean if there was such bug why would they only hack your page when there would been tons of bigger and active pages i mean he could hack thousands of pages by this way so why did he only hacked your page and the main question arises how?

There may be 2 things may have happened :

1) Someone would have got the access of your account and would have removed you from the admin . IF this is the case then kindly check your email associated with the account , You would have got the email of removing of admin. From there you can see and try to get back the page if there is option of securing of account.

2) Eg : If I'm the manger on the page and try to sell it to you after you gave the payment I gave you the page .
But while transfering the page to you. I opened my Facebook ID from some other IP adress which is not recognised by FB before and I made you the manager and removed my self. There option come on my mail to secure my account. IF clicks on it then IT will make me change my password + also tell me that is there new changes happened in my account . IF I don't recognise it they changes it to as before it was. means I will get that page back .

Now on your situation I Don't think you can do anything from thinking But better luck with police

I hate how people try to prove SMARTASSES by judging and giving stupid conculsions about this. My business is based on GOODNESS and not SCAMS or FISSHY THINGS, you can easily see that around the forum, I have absolutely no problem with anyone, and I've done business with a lot of guys around here. Nothing was fishy with my deal, I bought a fanpage, as everyone else does! What I'm saying is that there is a hidden catch with this, something like "cpa_worker" suggested.

I'm too good at this to fall for a cheap trick, there must be some new bug people found on fb. I was just asking for other guy's experiences, and not some stupid judgemental replies.

I have all the screen shots that I was the admin, I also took a pic of me being admin, while holding my ID too. There are all the proofs I need to proove it. I doupt they took it by facebook appeal option, as I would've gotten a warning message or something.

I PAID 1,600$ for it, page name: STOP BULLYING
Just so to give you an idea that I'm not moaning about some small amount of money Please, anyone trying to be a smartass, leave! Thank you to the guys who are really trying to help.
