How much relevant content on bought high PR sites?

Hi,

I've bought a few PR3+ sites and I have a few questions regarding making those sites relevant and link back to my site.

At the moment I have just installed a Twenty Twelve theme and written a relevant article to my niche on the Home page that contains about 800 words. I've added some images and made three links back to my money site.

My questions are:

1. How much relevant content do I have to put in there? The more the better?
2. How professional does the site have to look like? Is it enough to install a Twenty Twelve theme, add an article and an image or do I have to fill the entire site with content, images etc? And If so, why do I have to do that?

Would really appreciate if someone could take the time and enlighten me

go to archive.org , first rebuild those websites using it . then add links from them .
tough this was not smart move

you need not put more contents overnight, instead make updates with contents regularly

Assuming this is some sort of expired domain for a high PR network the answers are as follows:

1. It is not necessary to put a ton of content on there, but like anything else the more the better.
2. Geez don't go with the crappy 2012 theme, at least take 10 seconds to pick one of the other thousands of WP themes available.

As with anything else, the more you make it look like a real site the better. However I wouldn't waste too much time on this as generally if your site goes under a manual review, these blogs will be deindexed anyway.

It is a risk vs. reward factor. I don't have time to build all these "real sites" for my private blog network. A few articles and some images should be enough.

OP wants to make some pages link back to his main website.

I dont get the red marked sentence of you, doesn't make sense to me.
If the blogs are going to get deindexed, isn't it very bad for your linking pages? So you should spend even more time to make the pages/blogs which link to your main website even more "real-looking".

Or is it irrelevant if for example your tier1 links get deindexed?

I dont get the red marked sentence of you, doesn't make sense to me.
If the blogs are going to get deindexed, isn't it very bad for your linking pages? So you should spend even more time to make the pages/blogs which link to your main website even more "real-looking".

No what I meant with the red portion you highlighted was that soooo many people go out of their way to make their sites in their private blog network "look real". That's great and all, but time is money, and to be honest if any of your sites in your private blog network are manually reviewed, any decently educated Google employee will be able to recognize it is part of a blog network and deindex it anyway no matter how real you make them look.

When I first started building private networks I went the whole 9 yards. I used different themes, platforms, even monetized them (using different accounts) to make them all look like "real websites". However every now and then I would notice 1 site get de-indexed, and then another, then I realized it wasn't worth the time to go out of the way to add all these bells and whistles as any nitwit with half a brain could recognize it wasn't a "real site". And for the time it takes to make it "look real", I could put up a dozen other sites.

Now I just try to add as many sites to my network as possible and not waste my time too much "making them look real". I have had only 4-5 sites in my networks deindexed over the past couple of years, and this is out of hundreds of sites that I own for my networks.

So it really comes down to a time/reward issue I guess.
