I think what rankjuice is trying to say is that the tool doesn't work if you input more than 50 KWs e.g. if you had a txt file with 800 keywords importing them wouldn't be possible.

I have import my own 378 keywords and all are imported successfully through TXT file.

I'm glad I waited and was patient until the bugs had been worked out. i just purchased. Thanks for the great thread here.

You can import 1000's of kws into UNF but you can only get search data for 50 kws at a time. So you have to select 50 kws, right click, click on fetch search data

I can't seem to get this to work just says Malformed GKT.. what can I do to fix it? I've changed all country and language options but nothing worked..

Ghoast,

If there are stored keywords in keyword planner, UNF (in its current state) seems to search within those keywords. If you log into GKP, got to Keyword Planner, and clear out any saved searches, this will get rid of the [malformed GKT] error. We are adding in functionality to drop saved searches in the next build.

I have downloaded the latest version and it is now running in batches of 100 kws instead of 50 so it still does not work :(

i used to run UNF on my home PC, using some fresh free proxies (around 2-3 hundred) and the proxy testing runs smoothly.
but now, whenever i try to test proxies, my internet connection seem stuck and like in a super-heavy load. FYI, my internet speed is 1 Mbps. Where's the fast and light UNF now ?
I even never able to finish the proxy testing !!

I believe it's slow now because of the new Google Planner infrastructure change. With the old GKT many keyword tools were able to use google 'selectors', which in a sense allowed tools to tap directly into the google database.

With Google Planner's new infrastructure keyword tools are forced to use 'browser control', which essentially emulates the user going to the Google Planner, entering the keyword, clicking the links, fetching the keywords, etc

Correct me if im wrong hango

But you know, i even not login to the GKP yet, i was just testing some proxies. Not even start doing any research yet. In fact, I already use my other internet connection, fyi and it's giving me the same stuck and heavy-loaded connection... :(

splawnnitro,

You are correct.

redkoplax,

Let me look into this and see if we changed anything with the proxy testing.

Okay I just reset UNF and searched SEO and got 946 results. Will update on further findings.

Appears to now be working again!

Hopefully it'll hold together. Just like to say a big thanks to Hango for continuing to support the product, unlike another supplier on here.

Fingers crossed Google dont fuck it up even more!

Hamstamasta,

Agreed, another change is going to take its toll.

All,

For the time being, I'm trying to stay away from a subscription service. I was thinking of adding affiliate links in there to help support the maintenance, etc. Everyone is buying domains and sometimes hosting anyway, so I thought this might be easier and overall be less expensive for the user. Right now, I'm thinking of offering the following for domain registration, hosting, and proxies.

NameCheap

BlueHost

DreamHost

Register.com

HostGator

InMotion Hosting

Name.com
proxy51.com

What else would you add to the list. This shouldn't have any negative impact to UNF performance since it will be a little more code with outbound links.

Thoughts? Additions?

any updates?

As far as the switch to GKP goes, we have one more bug to work out that seems to affect a small percentage of old users. Sometimes these individuals are getting results with Arabic or a limited number of results for a keyword. We're working on that fix, but it has been difficult to isolate the problem.

Regarding the keyword batching, the new version, which will come out next week, should fix the issue.

@redkoplax,

We did not change any of the proxy code, so nothing should be different with the new version.

glad to hear it hango, and well, the proxy testing now is back to normal.
but a small problem now, i only get 2 results for every kw I expand.
i don't know why other users reported that they got hundreds of kw result.
is it happening to me only ? something wrong with my adwords account ?
I appreciate your fast respond hango ! :top:

redkoplax,

Yes, this is the bug we're trying to work out. It seems to affect older users, as I haven't gotten any feedback of the issue from individuals that have recently purchased the software.

Regardless, it's something in the code. My developer has done a lot of work investigating. The next version we publish will address the bug, but we can't conclusively say its going to fix it.

Still getting just a few (2-10) expanded results per KW after the last update on my end.

I have the same issue. Just ONE result returned for a keyword. Tried multiple google accounts too. Not good!!!
