Hi

I was wondering how much impact does it have incorporating a youtube video on your site and submitting it to youtube, saw a few sites that said it will be but all were out of date and could now be irrelevant.

Was looking on Fiverr, some great service providers for videos and with it only being $5. Read the additional charges before, purchasing tho, what you might want could cost you more then you think

Thanks in advance

host the videos yourself and they will rank high in go0gle search. well seo'd videos rank fast and easier

Well youtube is a pr 9 site, so needless to say you creating videos or ripping other peoples videos and adding it to your account with a backlink to your site, is good for seo.

not really... backlinks coming from YT videos show a PR9 but that's the domain PR ... if you had a link from youtube.com that would be awesome but you have a link from youtube.com/watch?v= which is a whole different story ...

yt pages have a ?PR and that's pretty much the link juice you're getting... other than the indexing power that link is pretty worthless

as brulok said hosting your own video will help but it's hard to outrank YT when it comes to videos :)

All in all i have very good experiences with making a video and publishing it to youtube and then link it to your site. As long as this video contains good and useful information.

Thanks guys for all the information, will definitely give it a go.

In my niche there aren't many videos and the ones there are, really bad quality poor information, just people trying to push cheap imports

If I can't come right with hosting it myself, will submit to youtube

In my opinion if you create YT video with link to your site in description and you even post it on your site it's pretty strong link.
I usually post videos in my articles. It doesn't have to be my own video but still it's providing good value to UX (if the video is informative/enjoyable) and I belive Google likes (or will like) it.
