Lol, phone got some action...letting it go for a couple weeks then I'll sit down with my sales guys and get some data. Still early. And these clients we targeted with this drop are very hard. Will throw an update up here in a couple weeks.

Over the past week we uncovered something that is working well. Something we really didn't target before. It would be perfect for those looking to make money offline in their local market. I am going to test it further next week and put together some details. This will be full details with everything you need to duplicate this with all resources. Everything you will need will be in the thread - and you could potentially make money the same day. I will post a new thread outlining it all in 10 - 21 days. (give or take)
I have been receiving a ton of PM's asking for help and while I really don't have the time to go over situations one on one what I can do is lay out a way to make money that anyone can get rolling with if they just follow the instructions. I'll do my best to make it simple and easy to follow. I think this is easy enough that I can outline it step by step that anyone could follow and be successful with it.
So, if you always wanted to make money offline I am going to get you dialed in! Time to pay it forward!
Edit: Almost forgot to mention the best part - the "work" for this particular method I have in mind will all be outsourced - so all you will have to do is SELL. When you don't have to worry about the small details and can focus 100% on selling it allows you to really crush it.

As mentioned above we have found a trend over the past couple weeks and this mailer just helped to prove that is is def worth pursuing and there is def a huge market ready for this.
We are going to launch a BST thread that will actually provide the service for this - it is in the review process now. This is going to allow ANYONE to duplicate this new method. All you will have to do is sell. Everything will be outsourced. More details to come. Lots to do and get ready.
Be patient and as soon as all details are approved/finalized/launched I will post a new method thread here in the offline section that will contain documents, step by step instructions - it is so simple that everyone that reads it should be making money the very same week.

I want to give you some advice I learned from worldclass copywriters. That, I think, could help you to get more business.
Make sure to test 'what screams' before you test 'what whispers'. Means, copy vs. copy, longer copy vs shorter copy, closer vs. closer, opener, vs. opener an so on. Because, if you find that one package pulls for ex 1,38% and another one with a changed 'screaming' part pulls 2,1%... on which you want to have a 10%boost in response testing wishpering factors?
Make sure to learn about the statistic principle 'confidence intervall'. It tells you in %, how confident you can be, that the numbers you got are significant. If you got a splittest winner, but it has a error-probability of 25%, you may want to drive a few more test before you rely on it completly. I guess you might know that already.
And 3rd: Make your advertising look valueable. If you would write a little book about your profession, SEO for ex., having the title "How Google Transforms <Industry>". Plus, maybe your name and some 'whats inside' copy on the backside. Inside, explaining Google, showcasing how several of your clients profit like crazy and ending in a hard-hitting pitch. Whould you throw away a book coming in an envelope saying 'Your special report', telling you about how to profit like crazy by using the internet? It's a topic every business owner is aware of. You'll get a chance this way to convert even the hard ones over a period of time. Because they see it and from time to time will read it again. Could get you ongoing business because it will stick around in many offices a lot longer. I guess you're someone who's able to do the final thinking himself.
Last of all. If you really want to make your conversion skyrocket, get Gray Bencivengas Live 100 Seminar. He, who's the one that saved several companies time and time again through his ability to sell, gave only one seminar in his entire life. Because he's retiring. Sharing all the high-end info he kept confidential over the years. Because there are method inthere his company used to outperfom nearly every package they drove a control against.

Update time...
Ok, had a few min and wanted to update this thread for those who are following it. Its been a couple weeks since the mail hit and we saw a decent phone volume. This particular mailer was directed to a separate 800 number, so we know 100% that each phone call originated because of this mail piece. Got some tire kickers and some serious inquiries. Only one signed contract as of now (for what we were going after) and it is a very small one at $1,500 a month. 12 month contract, so after a couple months we will have recouped all of the cost associated with this mailing and be in the profit. A couple others we are still going back and forth with. More importantly we realized something...
A lot of companies were pissed off about SEO in general - we spoke to three companies that all called and basically said the same thing: "I FU#KING HATE GOOGLE!" - one person had a SEO company working on their site and it was deindexed...this was a 12 year old site - their brand name. Two others called wanting to know how they can speed up the SEO process. They are both under contract and the companies are telling them that it takes time and that they need to make sure that they do not do anything to trigger a penalty.
Sometimes when you are working one angle/method something is born that has huge potential...
Fast forward to now...While this mailer was a let down for me so far (only been two weeks so I can't be too harsh) - we at least have our investment back and who knows what will result next week, the week after, or a month down the line. BUT doing this made it clear that we needed to pursue something else that we were dabbling in with some success. So, time to turn it up.
We are working on getting the service packaged together and I am going to post a new method that ANYONE can use to make $3,000 - $6,000 a month (or much more) - it will NOT get any easier than this. I'm going to give you all templates, scripts, and step by step instructions. 100% outsourced. Just like everything there is a time to jump on the wagon and ride it until the heels falls of and make as much money as possible. Well, the time is now for this method and I am going to make sure every single person that reads it can simply read the thread and get every piece of information that they will need in order to start making money right away.
I am working my ass off to get it all together. Sit tight, and as soon as I post it I will post back in this thread with a link to it.

Thank you so much for this. Dealing with clients who are hiring a SEO firm for the first time I ALWAYS explain that results may be 3-4 months out. Even when they say they understand in the back of their mind I feel they think that "ok so next week I should see results" but it does not happen that fast. So after month 2 when they see the keywords they have at NIT 100 go to page 3 well that is not good enough.
Time is a HUGE factor with businesses and SEO. They want top rankings tomorrow and cant wait. So somehow there has got to be a balance. So I am going to introduce PPC mixed with SEO so at least they see some instant traffic while the SEO is getting worked on. I am sure this may not even be enough but there has got to be a clear script or way to tell business owners that SEO will NEVER be an instant ranker unless they go the route of PPC and even then all the clicks they get may be lookie loos that waste their budget.
I await any ideas or plans you have as of now I have got down to 1 client because others could not hold on for the ride. Lets see what you have to offer us "offliners"..
