so this is unfair because I am sure that I got enough likes for pop page.. For example one of my friend got less likes with more time compared me and hit popular page...

i can also say that it is unfair, because i get usually with 81k followers more likes during the same time as others with 150k - 250k follower accounts and only get one time per week on pop page

i had the problem it started middle june for me when they put video and i kept trying every day but i couldnt get to the populars and then when i was getting popular it was when my picture was on 3 hours or if i went to populars early it only lasted for maybe 15 minutes because after that i couldnt see my picture any more and i checked so much it made me crazy.i stopped using instagram for 5 days because i was angry and i dont know if it is coinicdence or not but yesterday i put 5pictures and all of them stay in because i checked and today i put 2 pictures and it also stayed,i dont know what the problem was or why its only happening to some but not happening to other people but i am so happy it got o.k for me right now but for how long ??????????

it has been 5 days already since i cannot hit the popular page. I own the smaller account which has around 56k but i hits the popular page from that account. How long does this happen to you and your friends? And it's fixed now ?

Hi guys... I have been having problems with the popular page for the last few weeks(since 15th of June). Sometimes the photos can't get popped, sometimes they fall off the pop page after posted, and sometimes they popped after two hours...Is there anybody who suffers this problem? Hi! I've noticed this happening to big accounts since June and I was afraid that it would happen to me and it did yesterday I own a 600k+ account and just like you every single photo I posted, made it to the popular page. It is very frustrating coz I use IG for business and now I am going to lose a lot of followers when my photos doesn't make it. Someone I know who was always on the popular page also stopped making it in January then all of a sudden she made it again to the popular page again in June. I tried emailing IG support but I doubt that they would do anything about it. I hope it's just a glitch and they fix it soon.

I have the same problem as you. I have an account with over 600,000 followers, it used to reach popular page everyday. But after around 15th of June like 3 days before the video update, it didn't reach popular page anymore. Then after a few days it started reaching popular page but not always, maybe once a day or twice and that was after 2 hours, sometimes after 45 minutes but when I go to popular page the photo is never there.

Also I've noticed that smaller accounts that very rarely used to be on the popular page are always on the popular page now, accounts with 200K followers always reach popular page, but before the update they never reached.

I think Instagram changed the formula for us who always reached popular page, but then I looked at celebrities like Tyra Banks, they reach popular page all the time even after the update. It is so weird...

I get around 900+ likes a minute. No I am not joking, my photos get around 50,000 likes in 3 hours, but it still won't let me get on the popular page.

It's all because of that damn video update!
