Paypal - Confirm Identity??? HELP!

So pretty much, I'm 16 years old and have set up a PayPal account (I bet you guys know where this is going).
I've had this account for a couple years now and everything has ran pretty smoothly until about a week ago - they decided to ask me to confirm my identity by providing a Photo ID and Providing Proof of SSN.
That's not the problem either.

The problem is that my PayPal name is under my name and the Photo ID and Proof of SSN would be under my moms name.
I have a credit (Debit) card attached the account, and I also have mine and my mothers bank attached to the account.
My mom would not be bothered by paying whatever taxes they would charge me for my transactions on PayPal.

The question is:
Does it matter that my PayPal name is different than the Photo ID and Proof of SSN?
Is there any way around this?
If I remove my bank account and credit card info would I be able to let them limit/ban my current account and I could just make a new one? (The new accounts information would all be under my mother's name)
How should I deal with this?
Should I transfer all the money in my account (somewhere from $80-$160) to my bank account before they close it?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have 6 days to confirm my identity before something happens so I need answers ASAP!

It sounds like everything is pretty whitehat, you are actually using your identity and your moms.

I do think paypal would understand since you are a minor. But before calling you can always send your money to anyone paypal account to see just in case to see if you get limited or not when calling just in case. That would be the best thing I can think of, let me know if you have any questions. I can help with this

They will actually like this more than dislike it, I agree. When all seems lost, CALL them, and get a manager if needed. PayPal is not the hassle they once were, and do a much better job at making sense now.

Try to call them again and explain all problems. If is necessary resend via fax & email all documents

I to was asked for my ssn but i can't give it to them until i turn 18 (next month) so i didn't want to risk my money being put on hold ($150) so i requested a check lol. The problem here is if you use your real info then your account will be banned (for being underage) and if you use your moms then if something were to happen she would be taken all the risk. I would open another account under a relatives name (preferably a older brother or sister).
