Hi guys.
Long time no see - I just noticed recently few annoying updates and did research on them.
Actually solution to removing it for most sites is pretty easy.
Latest updates are quite precise (they dont affect major number of results like before).
It seems Google is patching their holes with them. They look like chaotical fixes, but they are actually pretty targeted.
After researching hundreds of sites it seems we should do following:
Diversify your anchors even further.
Best way to do so is to get RankLeap, Senuke, UD or any tool that can build medium quality profile links.
Grab the list from one of this links:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...generic-organic-anchors-anchor-diversity.html
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-huge-list-generic-anchors-fight-penguin.html
Make a nice spintax with them.
Now try to blast as many anchors as you have to as many unique sites. (if you have 100 anchors - blast them to 100 unique websites).
Once done - dont index them. Not yet.
Now get VA or move your ass and login to larger part of those profiles and perform an action on them - like something, reply to someone, add some friends - anything that indicates your profile is alive. You might upload some avatars also.
Try to get at least 50 live links with this for new/small site - 100 for medium site and ~200 for authority/large.
Try to get at least 70-80% accounts modified/updated.
Once done get them links crawled by pasting them in http://justpaste.it or similar site and then pinging the result link few times. If you want, you can add some text keyword stuffed text above and below - but this might rise some flags.
Remove any bad 301s.
If you ever got penalty or got some heavy SEO on domain and 301 it to new site - now its time to remove it. Google is starting to seriously look in to 301 business not only lowering value of 301 but also passing penalties through it even if the link profile for 301 was pretty clean.
I would actually remove any 301s but thats looking to far in the future for some.
Don't panic when your site jumps.
Don't do stupid things. Just do what you were doing before. Google is based on patterns - they will always looks for unusual pattern, especially for link building. Don't lose your head, it happens to all - its completely normal and there are huge chances your site will get back.
Push bad links to tier #3.
Still to many people are using SB and other bad links for tier 2. If you want long term results - avoid leaving trace and spread this to tier 3.
Leave tier 2 for Senuke style links.
Get some real, authority links.
Real guest blog or any kind of link from authority site - you need to have them at least once every 2-3 months.
You can also occasionally comment on authority niche related blogs. It takes 5 minutes but 1 organic link a week will make wonders for you.
Also get some links from large websites like about.com, wikipedia, most popular forums (signature links) and social sites (I personally ignore FB and Twitter for now because as long as you dont have authority connections and build up account you will get small to none result)
Really diversify your SEO. Really.
Changing your link list is not enough for diversifying your SEO. Check posts like this for ideas on some unique ways to get links that no one else get:

Every so I get a guy saying "I diversify my SEO, I change the site where I post my links quite often." So what if all sites are Wordpress blogs...
Fix your errors and onsite.
Scan for broken links and errors. Let in Google children projects to be accessed on your site. Use their services to buy their trust.
Simple deal - they scrape data from your site - you get rankings.
Keep Meta simple - more meta = bigger possibility you do artificial SEO to your domain, so avoid 20 meta tags in header explaining to crawlers how you expect them to rank you.
Don't trust your results in 100% to SEO sellers.
Sorry, but no one will give you full package. You still need to do your homework and its up to you to know what is good for you. Check BHW and marketing blogs at least once a week for industry news and methods. Stay in the loop or you will end up getting 200 Xrumer links for $100
Think long term.
Think further than 6 months. Before you do anything - ask yourself if this can ruin you in the future.
Google never forgets. Never.
Dont use quick solutions for your long term projects. Senuke is spam. Google tolerate it for now, but expect it to sooner or later cause some issues when used on money site.
Remove trust factor from bad links.
If you have bad links you have 3 options.
Ignore them - which can kick you in the nuts later on.
Remove them - using either one of the services or sending emails to webmaster.
Build authority to them - by building good tier2 to scraped links - I used this method successfully before - I simply blasted few rounds of UD links (bookmarks mainly and small mix of others) at my bad links and got away with most penalties.
Don't wait - act.
Times changed - now you need to prevent getting penalized rather than hoping to fly under the radar. Before SEO was somehow based on rule - if it works, dont fix it. Now we need to work with rule - if it works, preserve it.
Good luck Black Hatters
