This is true, but I don't think an introductory thread is an appropriate place for such things. Personally, I think that regardless of apparent gender, we should treat new members as we would any other member. Say hi, welcome them to the forum. And then let their actions and attitude in the forum be what defines them. If someone is seen breaking the rules, report them, it's not necessary to degrade yourself and the forum by acting like a primate.
Just my thoughts on this![]()
I agree, I understand.
However, I kinda tend to treat people according to the things they post. Being a girl isn't anything special, so why mention it? Plus, they KNOW that saying "I'm a girl" will have an effect on people, so they are aiming for something else, for more attention. If you only came here to make money, then gender isn't important.
That's just my theory. I welcome everyone to BHW and I have nothing against them. I only have something against someone's attitude. Hopefully such "negative" posts won't ruin BHW's reputation and members will keep coming, and staying!
