We need to chill out a bit

This is true, but I don't think an introductory thread is an appropriate place for such things. Personally, I think that regardless of apparent gender, we should treat new members as we would any other member. Say hi, welcome them to the forum. And then let their actions and attitude in the forum be what defines them. If someone is seen breaking the rules, report them, it's not necessary to degrade yourself and the forum by acting like a primate.

Just my thoughts on this :)

I agree, I understand.

However, I kinda tend to treat people according to the things they post. Being a girl isn't anything special, so why mention it? Plus, they KNOW that saying "I'm a girl" will have an effect on people, so they are aiming for something else, for more attention. If you only came here to make money, then gender isn't important.

That's just my theory. I welcome everyone to BHW and I have nothing against them. I only have something against someone's attitude. Hopefully such "negative" posts won't ruin BHW's reputation and members will keep coming, and staying!

I totally get your point dude, I'd thank you if I had any left ^^ It comes down to using your better judgement and keeping your integrity I think. Good answer :)

What the OP says is relevant...

But how does one, work out who is female and who is an ewhore...

That is the problem...

That confuses me...why do you need to know?

Why not rate the post on its relevance / usefulness rather trying to decide the sex of the person who posted it?

Do you try to decide if they are black or white?

Young or old?

Ugly or attractive?

No thought not :) but the sexism thing is huge here.

"Hi, I am a 17 years old dude studying MMO"

"Cool, blah blah" I have given you rep, slurp slurp

"Hi, I am a 17 years old girl who wants to study how to MMO"

"Prove it slut -Prove you are a girl - show us your tits OGTFO"

Neg rep -7

LOL.

Sad. I've seen some girls /women posting here recently and just by stating in their post they are female they have been flamed in a shitty way. As in accused of ewhoring when they are just women asking a question. They probably don't even know what ewhoring means.

Come on guys...or if you can't accept females might be in this industry too, then IMO the BHW admin should state it is a forum that females are not really welcome and to enter at their own discretion. And please don't bother pointing out the three (or is it four??) members that are female and well-known posters. Actually think they have disappeared too.

By being more inviting to female members, without accusing them of stuff they have probably never even heard of, guys can/will learn a lot.

Or don't women buy online? ;)

Guess not - more than half of the world's population only know how to use a keyboard to ewhore.

Hi!

Dwayne Wade sucks.

Oh yeah, his agent told him to change the spelling to seem unique. My bad. Dwyane (Jew-yan-ie).

There is no point of introducing sex at first post.

This is the crux of the whole debate, sex isn't important on a message board. They are only hoping for special treatment.

I think White eKnights are full of shit. In their horny and socially inept pea-brains, they figure if they "rescue" enough "damsels in distress" and "save" them from all those other predatory males, somehow she is going to open-up her ePussy and he'll finally get sex from someone other than his sister.

All these fake concerns are fucking lies, intended for exactly and only one purpose, which is attempt to assert undeserved and unearned power & control over other people. And if you ever stopped to think about them, they are at core sexist. Women ain't stupid. They've been dealing with horny men from they day they started wearing a bra, and have figured-out how to convert that pussy into all manner of tangible and intangible rewards. If men suddenly stopped treating them "special" a lot of women would be forced to have to compete for their status based on their individual merit, and not the stench that emanates from that gash between their legs.

It's a fucking IM forum, you tucking 'tards. Most of the money made online is from porn.

Think women haven't got something to do with that?

This is the same level of rank, retarded stupidity that allows a man to believe that dating a whore would be a good thing. All she needs is unconditional love and acceptance from a man that will protect her, take care of her and buy her things. Expensive things.

So okay, dumbass, you have a right to be a fucking horny retard with an infinite capacity to ignore reality and instead believe in your own retarded version of "how things are", but that right comes to a fucking screeching halt the second you presume to tell me, and anyone that sees things the way I do, how I (or anyone else) should comport myself with people of the female gender.

How about instead you mind your own fucking business?

People don't say that often enough, IMO. We should, here at BHW, have a merit badge or something that can be given out as a reward and a commemorative announcement to Members that have made the statement "Mind your Own Fucking Business" to another member that has their nose in someone else's business.

"Black Hat" is a philosophy. It has a lot to do with a rugged individual asserting their right to earn a their money any way they see fit. And if Google can go fuck off, and sometimes law enforcement can go fuck off, then certainly some pissant with a sexual agenda masquerading as "concern" for someone else can certainly be told to mind their own fucking business, and fuck off.

"Mind your Own Fucking Business" has a certain "snap" to it, doesn't it? Should be the BHW motto.

"Welcome to BlackHatWorld! Remember to Mind Your Own Fucking Business." Ought to be a rule, or a stickie, or sent out via PM when a Member 1st joins. That's what's wrong with the world today; all these pissants crying about someone hurting someone else's feewings. Put enough of these crybaby motherfuckers together and they'll have a new set of laws, protecting yet another "victim class", eroding people's basic and god-given human rights and forcing the productive class to pay for the enforcement, effectively funding their own enslavement.

I think these people should be dealt with in as direct, rude and confrontational manner as possible? Keyboard Warrior? Maybe. Although I've noticed that my online persona is bleeding into my real life. The more "solid" this identity becomes, the more frequently these online beliefs start being "shared" in real life. I smile less, tell the truth more and really don't give a fuck if the person I'm talking to likes me or not. We're at war. We're at war with the retards, and up to this point they've been winning.

I say, it's time to start hitting back.

Well said
Why are they mentioning it? "Hi I am a girl...wanna learn"
Come on! If it did not matter then why mention it? If they were just typical IM'ers and we found out
that they were a girl then that would be normal and fine.

There are well respected female members of this community. But they did not barge in throwing around
the fact there a female.

Do not get me wrong OP I respect your concern and agree to a degree. But most of the people throwing around gender on a
first post are full of shit :D

Cheers,
Unclemike

That post (two posts above this) reminded me of another poster called b.friendly... same acidic and lashing tongue. hmm... :)

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to mention your gender in a BH forum, unless you want to some attention. I do still agree with OP, be nice!

I think it's about time I gave this thread a friendly little bump.

Was just reading this response by one of the wisest members of BHW:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-looking-guidance-oh-hey-btw.html#post6102040

He gave a great response and I think this thread deserves a copy of what he wrote:

~~ I quote Wiz:

... There is a shitty trend going on in BHW
involving several Jr. VIP's who find some kind of enjoyment by
bitch-slapping new members. I have been discussing this with
my fellow staff members and it saddens me to see this happening.

If a new member starts out on the wrong foot, it should be
handled in a kinder way instead of kicking their ass.

I have always been proud of this forum, but that is starting
to change, due to a select handfull of Jr VIP's who have taken
it upon themselves to act as "pseudo leaders". They are
presenting themselves as a bad example for newcomers.

"Wiz"

~~ unquote

Those words are what other top members should listen to and follow... then the present avoidable trend would become a thing of the past, imho.
