Anyone recovered from Penguin 2.0 yet?

I was just starting to rank well and grew my traffic from 100 per day to just under 300 per day... Thinking oh my God, internet marketing may be the best thing for me... And then...

It's still for me, I just gotta clean up, regroup my SEO and then attack Penguin 2.0.

How badly damaged was your link profile for those sites? And what kind of anchor texts did you use for these high quality links that you sent? I have a few sites that were hit, and your observation pretty accurately describes them.

All those sites were built on software links, so not the greatest. For the "quality links" I just used the target keyword, I didn't mix it up.

Penguin 2.0's roll out was slow, as far as Penguin updates go. Seemingly there is more than meets the eye going on with these updates since May. None of my sites were hit, until about 1 week ago.

Every single search result I monitor (around 500 different sites updated daily) have had significant volatility. All of this is ok though, as this is what Google does.

Anyone who thinks there's a way to "Penguin" proof a site needs to stop bothering trying.

I seriously lost 40% of my earning during the first update and it was like a huge blow, This penguin didn't bring something bad to me. I just noticed some dance in few sites.
