Good for you. Wanna cookie?
Given that a standard American could even pronounce that, I'm pretty sure it would be unanimously "noovoh reesh." I'm sure someone could find a way to fuck it up though if they try hard enough. Hell, it actually wouldn't take that much effort. "Nohvoh rich" seems a likely candidate.So, out of interest how would americans pronouncs "nouveau riche"?
And I pronounce "douche" like this: "doo-shay", because "doosh" is too masculine.
However "Stupid fucking thread" is still pronounced in the standard manner.
What if you met a prospective client who was well-versed in cultural nuances? Pronouncing "niche" incorrectly could drastically alter the outcome of your business relationship or prevent it from happening altogether.I feel like we really accomplished something here
INVALID EQUATION.Mathematical equation:
If Niche = Neesh / Neech / Nitch-ay / Notch
and
Biche = beesh / beech / bitch-ay / bitch
Solve for b, given that N > b

IMO if they were serious about business they wouldn't care how you pronounce it as long as you know what you're doing.
You would be surprised in the importance people place on knowing what you're doing, including pronouncing words properly. There are many inferences that can be made about someone who is unaware how to do something properly, even something small like pronounce a word.If they where well versed, they would be aware of the different ways to pronounce niche. So...
Shit's pretty cash, eh?You know you're the elite when a thread ends with Backus-Naur form for correct use of an English word. This is Buckingham Palace grade quality stuff right here.
