One of the biggest factors now seems to be the number of tweets you are making in comparison to the other actions you are performing. All accounts I have used that are making at least five tweets per day - fresh tweets not RT's - are doing fine, whilst others that aren't tweeting so frequently are getting suspended for the smallest of things.

Hello there, nice to see you back in the thread.. what are you using to post your tweets and how many proxies? Do you post tweets on multiple threads?

I'm mostly using Twitterfeed to pull the latest news in my niche, plus some scheduled tweets via Socialoomph.

are you sure you need 5000 followers to follow 1000 a day? i was following 1000 a day with 2000 followers without bans, which other people told me was possible as well?

To consistently & safely follow 1k per day I would say so, yes. I'm not doubting that it's possible & when I tested some accounts were inexplicably able to get away with more than others, but for an approach that works across the board I recommend sticking to the figures I posted.

I've used this method for 3 weeks in June and it worked fine for me as well.

I have followed these rules to a T and can say that they work 100%. I don't even use proxys and have not had trouble. (Granted, I only run about 6 accounts).

Anyone know how many accounts you can get away with on one IP address?

man i got suspended following these instructions

but its wierd cuz the day i got suspended i didnt actually follow anybody

i was just tweeting my link every minute

I'm hearing it's not a good idea to follow 1,000 people a day now? Any truth to that?

If you follow 1000 users with a new twitter account, it will be suspended immediately.

I folowed the other one using Twidium only one account to promote my band.

never more than about 80-90 a day (follow or unfollow)
but have got 2 bans - 1 captcha - 1 write a begging letter to Twitter

I have only made 70 tweets so i think tweeting has loads to do with it.
also both bans were the day after an unfollow
Somemone said you have to view the profile before unfollow too?

Do you notice different limits for twitters that only post from RSS feeds using hootsuite/twitterfeed vs accounts that tweet naturally from say the twitter website or an ios app?

Just curious! I run several autotwitters for local events and they tweet probably 4-7 times a week. I mass follow on and off and unfollow once in a while

Also TWIDIUM crashed the Log in the background somehow.
I didn't realise but it just "never found any recent bot follows to unfollow"
I had to delete the account and redo it

Result was that Twidium followed the same people twice.

I think that added to the reason to get a ban too.

Pretty poor show for TWIDIUM :rocketwho

Its interesting that accounts have to make 5 tweets to not get on the watched for a ban list

How many times can twitter stop ones account?
Is posting hootsuite .owly links going to trigger Twitter thinking I'm spamming?
