1. KEYWORD RESEARCH ?

Keyword research is the first step for doing seo.Basically we must know what people are searching and for what they are searching to get the best out of it.For newbies, the best free tool is Google?s Free Keyword Tool or else If you are a pro, get a free trial of a pro software i.e Anything like Market Samurai etc.

2. DOMAIN NAME ?

Exactly domain name really matters i.e we muxt conclude that what people are searching for so getting a good short catchy domain name is a must.
According to me going for .com .net .org will be the best option i.e they are called TLD?s (top level domains) and are easiest to get indexed & ranked.

3. ON-PAGE SEO-

Firstly set your Mets Tags on each and every page to get indexed properly. That includes your: Title Tag, Description Tag and Keyword Tag. According to me i suggest to have 500+ words per page for proper text content density where the google loves to index effectively.
Sprinkle your keywords each on every page to get the better density and also underline or make it bold to link to other pages.

4. URLS & PERMALINKS

Name your pages with your keywords.i.e if you write an article on ?petservices?
Then go for www petservice com/pet-services(your area)
If you use WordPress, simply set your Permalinks setting to: /%category%/%postname%/ or /%postname%/

5. SITEMAP & ANALYTICS ?

Best way to creat a site map or plugin is by software or if you are using Wp then go for free plugins. Then Upload it to your root web server folder in XML.GZ format, Submit this URL to Google Webmaster Tools and verify the site Ownership at the same time.You can also connect Google analytics via your account settings.

6. AWESOME CONTENT ?

Obviously even i also vote 75% of your seo is based on the content really content acts like King.The better you implement the content the better you rank.I suggest you to write minimum 500 words + orginal content to each keywords.Lastly Duplicate content will do you no good, use only original, high quality, compelling content. Educate and entice your visitors to spend a lot of time on your website and visit lots of pages.

7. SOCIAL MEDIA ?

In these days social media is also increasing drastically so its better you to start socially i.e share the news socially share all your website details with your facebook pages,twitter pages and many more etc.Google new updates are really giving very crucial importance for social media.

8. BACKLINKS ?

Lastly but not the least, One of the most important parts of SEO is backlink building. Simply another websites links are effectively redirected to our sites.
We want to list our site on Business Directories, Website Directories, Article Directories. Also make quality Blog Comments, Forum Posting, Guest Blogging, etc. Try to get backlinks from websites with a higher Page Rank than your website this will really helps to get better ranks in Search Engine.

Well include the information you left out like how to use scrapebox to find good backlinks. To check the OBL (Out bound Links) of the domain. Anything below 50 is good. Explain the concept of do follow and no follow. There needs to be a combination of both so it looks more natural to google. There's more, but I am not going to hijack your thread. Do your thing and you should probably put all information regarding SEO in this one thread. Otherwise you will start getting those pinned as duplicate threads and the mods will delete them. Good luck with your thread.
