What do you guys think? I'm in my early adulthood but when I think of the future I can only hope for the well being of the world. If so much has changed in the past 100 years then just as much can change in the next 100 for better or for worse. I can only wonder. I'm kind of worried about future generations and what will happen, after all I want to have kids you know. Money at the end of the day only creates problems, it creates debt, and the way things look at this time, it's hard to see a bright future unless something changes. It's funny how many ignorant people there are that give value to those things in life that are completely unnecessary. It's hard to see a sustainable future the way society is going. At the end of the day I feel like it's our job to make sure that future generations won't be having to fix our mistakes.

Just take a look at the world debt figures:

The problem is that currency actually created all the advances we have now. Since there is really no way i can swap 5 affiliate signups for 1 month of broadband without it.

Plus all houses and developments are built on people taking risks by borrowing debt from a bank.

Its a complex subject.

Hence you should watch the video. The thing is there will always be debt. This debt is going to make the world come to a standstill.

The largest issue probably lies in the mentality of people, they're too used to the way things are that they can't comprehend a different way of making things work.

What about the likes of Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein? Where they incentivised by money?

It definitely is a complex matter. But ignoring it, will only make it worse.

Dude u have to be trolling! The only thing that ever improved humans lives is scinece and technology not some imaginary thing called money!

Obviously, but that is all funded by money. If i sell 1 million bucks worth of affiliate products, and i spend that money by donating it to science or chairty thats great.

I can't go and donate a bunch of affiliate receipts to any charity It needs to get converted to money. Hence money speeds up everything else.

Years ago you had to take your goats to someone miles away who could give you a chicken, or a candle. All that is happened since money is actually the same as the internet. Everything has increased in speed.

To be honest i think its too late for us!The planet is warming and is poluted and damaged beyond repair...people are wasting more and more resources each day!Our culture is in decline and the majority of people turn to ignoramuses called poiliticians who are neurally bankrupt to solve problems.I reckon in the next 100 years or so earth as we know it will be a nothing but a barren, burnt out radioactive peice of rock floating in space!

In the short run, maybe, maybe not. We can't truly tell where we'd be now if it wasn't for money, maybe we'd make much more progress? Maybe not. Maybe if currency was properly managed, it would be more viable for the future. You say that everything has increased in speed due to money, but that's only based on what we know. Money has hindered technology. Money has made individualists rather than people working together for a better good.

At the end of the day I'd rather live without this technology then with the stress that money has created. Sure you may be good and your children might be good, but what about your grandchildren? Do you really think money is sustainable? Come to think of it, money can never function in a society free from war, free from crimes, etc. Money will always have a flaw, and this flaw is the simple fact that the one that accumulates the most, will be the one in power.

Ur level of fail is just on a whole new level!First of all debt/money is the worst form of incentvie because it also creates incentive for embezzlemet, corruption, drugs and a whole lot of other nasty things!Second of all the entire modern world as we know it lies on the hands of probably less than 100 or so scientists who's incentive was purely to help humanity!Sure there were very rich men like 300 years ago for instance kings but they wuld kill to have a cell phone or any of the modern gadgets or proper medicall care!We can argue on this all day but money/debt is merely the result of scarcity!Science and technology can create an abundance of everything..not printing more money/debt to create more debt out of debt from something that doesn't even exist lol!

Hopefully people will become more aware, more conscious of what is happening around us, and drop the unnecessary things in life. This is probably the hardest part, but if people understood what needs to be done, society could be rebuilt within a few years. But most people just don't understand that in order to gain something, you need to also sacrifice something. In this case it would be those few years of making the changes so that you could live a better life in the future. Unfortunately it seems most prefer to sacrifice their future rather than those few years.

Money has made individualists rather than people working together for a better good.

When I read someones signature about how steelballs needed some assistance, i instantly spent my money on helping him, and then updated my signature, to promote more help, instead of an affiliate link. If it wasn't for my own greed about making money, and coming on this forum to learn and help, then i would never have taken any action.

Your born, you live, you play, you die.

Our grandchildren will indeed laugh at our stupidity and ignorance.Infact our society and culture is so rotten it wont even make it into the history books of the future!

This is where your understanding goes down the drain. I'm not saying you're being greedy, you're definitely being helpful but that's just one side of things.

Also, you're born, you live, you create, you die. No one else on this planet is any better than you. No one else knows anything that you can't learn. You create your reality or you play someone else's. I guess you prefer to play someone else's.

Well, if i could save the fucking world, everyone and the whole universe then i would. But i can't. :)

You're taking the conversation out of context now. I was only replying to you quoting me on:

Money has made individualists rather than people working together for a better good.

You're the one that brought up saving the world.

hahah, i just kinda feel your expecting us to all shout in unison "lets fix this" :)

On a much less serious note, i just learnt about a guy from greece, back in the day who was a chariot racer, and he is the worlds highest ever recorded payed sports person, with the equivalent earning in todays money as something like 15 billion.

So there's my solution right there! Lets all be chariot riders!
