I am seeing a new toolbox with risk management. It shows the Account refund rate and Account chargeback rate. Currently it is in blue(that is good stage). But interesting fact is, I have the account for the past one year only, with zero refunds or chargeback and g0t paid few times direct to bank.

Still these predictions are showing numbers Over 7% for refund rate and .6 for chargeback rate. I think, there algorithm is working in wrong direction and we need to be careful in getting more affiliate sale in future.

What about your experience in this matter.

Mine is green.. My CB count shows 0 and refund count show 12%... I dunno what it collectively means though :)

Mine is blue. I just only got 1 refund out of 25 sales

Mine is Green.

Never had a refund.

Account Refund Rate (Predicted) 10.01%
Account Chargeback Rate (Predicted) 0.66%

13 sales, zero refunds/chargebacks.

My actual refunds and chargebacks are higher than my predicted refunds and chargebacks. Then again, for a couple months, it was the opposite, and I have been every color but violet as a result (currently blue). The algorithm is unpredictable. If I had to try to come up with an explanation, I would say that your vendors have higher refund/chargeback rates than you do, so Clickbank is taking them into account when estimating what your potential is.

I thought this was gone as it was not available few days back, but see it now on the right side of CB dashboard.

My is Green sometimes blue :)

Where do you see those numbers? I can't find it in my dormant account.

It is in the main dashboard page itself. I think, you are not seeing because of the account being inactive for many days. Update the account with all the details again. You might see it then.

Well I'm not proud to say this, but mine is orange (Borderline)...
What the hell are you guys promoting that you're barely getting refunds ? :(

Well firstly promote the products having good gravity. Secondly, don't promote products which smell like scam. I only promote products which have a good refund policy. That way, the customer is not pissed off if he doesn't like the service. I have never got a chargeback and I have been working as an affiliate in ClickBank for 2+ years...

Hey thanks for that! But I'm kinda confused I thought all CB products were supposed to have the same refund policy (60 days money back guarantee) would you mind telling me how many sales you make per day? Not how much $..I'm kinda worry what if cb cancels my account. :(

I don't make too much of money from it, but I get 2-3 sales per day on an average. By saying "good refund policy" I meant that the seller should specifically mention in the landing page about it. I think you are aiming a wrong product. It's better to not sell anything than selling bad products as per my opinion.

"It's better to not sell anything than selling bad products as per my opinion." Yup! You're right bro!
I asked you how many sales you were making because I thought this might help me. I manage to make like 10 sales per day. But then sometimes I get 3,4 even 5 refunds in a single day. Usually 2 refunds. I kinda hate CB's refund policy but at the same time hey! If a person doesn't like a product he should be able to get a refund. I just think 60 days is too much. At least 1 month. This is why I'm interested in promoting CPA offers now.

I am not talking about the CB refund policy man. I am saying that the seller should mention.. something like .."100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with our product, we will give you full refund without asking a question.".. Remember, the customer might or might not know about Clickbank. They come to buy what they are looking for and they don't know what CB offers them (most of them do not care about reading the policy either..).. so that actually makes the customer think that it's a legit product and he was unlucky that it didn't work..
10 sale a day is awesome for me and I am working hard to reach it , but I don't get that much of refunds if you talk about percentage. I am promoting a safe service ;) For them, it's either a Hit, Or a Miss.. Most of the time, it's a hit! If It's a hit, no one is going to cancel it in 60 days. Understand my point now? Choosing the right product matters :-)

About their algorithm, I think it's making those predictions based on the products you are promoting or have promoted. I think those refund/chargeback predictions are calculated from the product's(that you promote) overall networkwise refund/chargeback rates. However, I "think" this. Not that I "know" this.

as @gogol said, choose the product with more gravity with clear support details and refund policy.

Before promoting any product, I email the owner to get more variety of banners( just to get response and interaction) and add them to skype to talk. That gives me the impression how careful and supportive they are. That way refunds will be less too.
