I have been using Magic Submitter for my link building first and second tier and so far so good about 70% of links are created successfully. I am getting more interested in GSA since its a one time fee.

My question is why do people say use GSA for 2nd tier links and not 1st? Wouldn't GSA work for 1st and 2nd tier links just fine and I would only use one software instead of 2?

because backlinks from GSA poor quality. i am using GSA and it is not good for creating tier 1. it just make your site get banned later.

My site getting banned from low quality links? I don't think so, maybe just not as good of search engine placement results in google. So what I'm getting at is GSA provides low quality links that should only be used on 2nd tier? Are there no high PR sites in GSA, PR3 -PR8?

Anyone else want to comment..

i meant if your site just blew up with low quality backlinks, google will assume your site as spam even get banned and deindexed later. it happened to me.

There's nothing wrong with using GSA as your tier 1, just be conservative on which engines you post to. Stick to strong CMS's (Drupal, Joomla, PHPFox, Dolphin, ELGG, Oxwall) and put the weaker engines (guestbooks, blog comments, forum profiles, most bookmarks) in your tier 2.

The beauty of GSA is that you can always tweak and add more tiers as you go, so start conservatively and slowly add quality links to your tier 1 rotation.

There are so many settings in gsa ... i'm still testing but i'm sure you can make some good links tier1.

why you said so ? you meant gsa ser is good for creating tier 1 ? have you ever tried in tier 1 before ?

I use GSA just for Tier 1 (I never do tier 2, 3 or 4 on any of my links is a waste of time and effort) and GSA got me ranking 5th position for a extremely hard to rank keyword.

Ohh and also I want to note that my main keyword is NOT in the domain like most of the sites competing for that keyword

Manny, how many links do you build per day? What link platforms you concentrate on? Thanks.

Not for long ;)

I would say combination of both is a lethal combo.
Nobody in the market can do 40-50 real web2.0 posts except Magic submitter.
If you have set tight filters in GSA and good content there is nothing wrong with using them as tier.1

Why wouldn't he stay in position 5 on first page for long if he is using high quality links and good first tier platforms in GSA? And are you saying GSA and magic submitter combined is lethal and if so why?

Well I have being ther for 3 weeks already and is not dancing at all. I do not count links per day I run GSA 24/7 on most platforms except exploit, indexer, trackbacks, & microblogs. For the looks of it I will stay solid on page one for a long time.

May I ask why you dont use these platforms, the only ones I dont use are pingback and referrer. I want to have your thoughts on this since im always looking to improve

YEs agreed...GSA SER is a good tool..the developer always look forward to inprove..I believe one day we can use GSA ser to create tier 1 backlinks...

Just make sure Tier 1 link high quality..indexed domain..

I really do not have a reason for it I just don't. I do not use pingback and referrer also.
Maybe because they are persived as lower quality backlinks.

You can do that now with the add on from serengines.com. This update lets you create Tier 1 links on sites like Wordpress, bravenet, xanga and so on. At the moment 33 sites are supported and they add more in the next days and weeks. They also update them daily. Cost at the moment is $14.95 per month.

Assuming you know how GSA works, you can set filters to ensure that you only post to sites that meet your criteria and if you submit the same content as you would with MS it doesn't matter which program submits the content the content is the same.

The filter alone do not help to make a crappy link a better link but as I said with serengines.com you have high or web2.0 sites in GSA now.
