Not your normal BHW thread of making money but if you have design/ artistic skills you should check it out.

First you need to sign up to society6.com, once registered you can upload artwork and they will print it onto:

t-shirts
Iphones
Laptop
Pillows
Bags

they sort out shipping and any complaints etc, they do take a percentage of profits but thats understandable considering.

When I first joined I wasn't selling anything but I found BHW and learned about Imacros. I created a script which liked other peoples work, in turn they liked my work and it got pushed onto the homepage :)

I started to see some sales but in the last few months it picked up (averages out at about $10 a day).

So if your into photography, illustration or whatever I recommend you give it a shout.

This is my profile, check out my promoted (courtesy of my script)

yeah, thats a nice side earner indeed. Looks like a good method for art people

That is a big rip-off.

To be honest, if you have a cool design, source the material by yourself. Find a distributor, and sell it in retail. Few months after you get return few times more than what are getting now.

Also, you need good social media marketing.

PS: I move to Asia because I am doing this.

I have thought about doing it myself, but I know people who do it and it can be time consuming when people say their item is lost or there not happy with the product etc etc.

If you worry that, you should do what you do now. Every business takes a risk to start.

Thats good. I have seen your design. I like them. I am starting my business now.. and in the future I may need some designers. Maybe we can keep contact for future plan.

PM me/

Pm if you need anything, I can do any design work needed.

What program do you use to make your designs?

It varies depending on my concept, usually ranges from photoshop, illustrator, processing, pen and paper and photography.

Thanks OP. I'll let my sister know about this, shes a huge artist that literally draws everyday

You can grab some pics on deviantart.com (which are posted by people, those pics are mostly nice and original), then use them on zazzle-like sites.

Of course you have to cover your a$$ against copyright complaints...

yeah i was thinking of doing this...but recreate the whole thing and make a some changes...so there wont be no copyright issues.

Cool, I like to play with photoshop and had some design ideas, but was to lazy to create them, but if it can be monetized, than I'm gonna try it.

Yes, but I think the OP's idea is cool when you need the startup cash to start doing what you just told us to.
