4 websites no income any help?

I bought 4 websites 3months ago. Tried different things, traffic came and went however no income. Not trying make millions just trying earn couple pennies.

Any help with choosing niche and monetization? Appreciate your response.

I think this is in the wrong category but I don't mind helping out. You sound like you don't know your websites niches? You can only earn if you're getting traffic what are your current visitors? I'd say as soon as you hit 50 visitors from targeted terms then you can start to worry about income but until then getting visitors should be the key thing on your agenda.

what section should i post in? One niche is e-commerce selling backlinks etc the other is a job search site and the 2 are blogs. Also on the e-commerce site I average 400-500 visitors per month however bounce rate is really high. Thanks

Maybe the niche is not right and your traffic is not targeted. And you said that your bounce rate is high - then there is a problem with your web design or page-load - I have fixed many of these problems. Sometimes, when they come to your website(s) and being overwhelmed with information and the page category fails to guide eye-path, that's when problems occur (psychological resistance) making them want to shut this down or close your website.

It is complex and you cannot keep guessing which one is right for you - you need to seek for help (not random people because it will hurt your conversion rate even worse or doesn't make any changes) if you are serious about this business.

If you are not really serious about these websites - just leave them that way, maybe change some copy and offers and see what happen.

The OP should go down a checklist that includes the following:

Is the niche kw a buying keyword? Does it naturally relate to people about to buy something to solve an urgent problem, or just to get free info?

Is server's loading okay? Does it provide good uptime? Is the loading problem on the client's side (bad web design)?

Is the affiliate product/offer/service decent? Is the site preselling it well? Is the landing page good?

If adsense, does the keyword have high or low PPC competition? If low, that often means it's not highly clicked on.

Is the monetizing link, or ad placement optimal? Is the site too ugly to keep retain visitors, or too pretty for visitors to leave via clicking the link?

That kind of thing.

The first thing you should do is try and get it right on one site. That could come across as harsh, but hear me out. Pick one site that you think is your most likely earner and experiment. What terms are most people coming to your site searching for? What do they see when they first land on your site? If you're seeing a high bounce rate it means they're getting put off early on, so maybe you're selling too hard. The truth is there is a lot of trial and error involved here. But once you start to see results on one site, you have a road map for what you want to do with the other three.
